There was a game that got on the "top rated" section called "nyctophobia" (fear of the dark), it was a survival game where you had to find batteries to replenish your flashlight while avoiding a few different monsters. It died out like 2 weeks later and the developer stopped updating the game last time I checked

Honestly, doors is one of the best horror games I’ve ever seen on roblox, it’s crazy that it’s even possible with Roblox’s limitations. I was a huge fan of its predecessor rooms, so when I saw this game had released I was immediately excited. Everything about the game is great, the graphics, the atmosphere and overall eldritch horror-esc feeling. I’d highly recommend checking it out if you somehow haven’t already.

You should’ve included that Disney world game that was a innocent rollercoaster game until you uncovered weird secrets and it got really disturbing, having a story behind it

i vividly remember playing Fluttershy's Lovely Home as a guest user back in 2014. My friend introduced me to the game and i was around seven, for some reason we played it repetitive times whenever we met up

I remember playing this Roblox horror game where the basic premise consisted of you playing as an investigator looking into a case of Japanese dolls coming alive and killing their owners. It was first person, and the graphics looked really good. I only have two screenshots of the game, and I don't remember its name for the life of me. I believe you start off by exploring an alleyway, where you come across a bloodied headless corpse. You walked a bit further down the alley to find a Japanese doll sitting on some steps in front of an ajar door. I don’t know what happened after because I chickened out and never got any further. This Roblox horror game iceberg reminded me of this game (unfortunately I don’t believe it was on it), and was hoping if someone else had any idea what this game was.

As a Malaysian, the Kampong is actually Kampung (Village) the game is about Malaysia/Indonesia myths such as "toyol" "pocong" etc etc the game is about you have to escape from village with car, but the ghost is pretty much active and you to do "pray" from "pray mat"… i actually cant explain much though..

The SCP-096 game you mentioned I believe is not a reupload, but made completely from scratch. The developer stated that in the game's old description.

9:50 former myth hunter and mythologist here, this is one of my favorite myths ive ever been to out of all the myth games ive went to i deadass had fun trying to crack some puzzles throughout the whole game with my then-investigators and breaking down the game and its own lore

to add to viennas cafe, there was an older version made in 2011 by vienna456 with a bigger build (which i presume had free models), which had several buildings as the restaurant i believe. and either in the basement or in the rooftop a similar chamber like in the 2015 remake - (but with worse free models) was there. i think the game is mostly broken last i played, because there was literally no floor so you couldn't walk anywhere and the house models are kinda broken. oh yeah also the 2015 remake was popularized by albert/flamingo around 2018 i believe and it led to the game being popularized, then people exploiting the game which was one of the reasons why it was deleted, the other reason being that well - it was gory. i only know this because i often played the game(s) and saw them get exploited; it wasn't anything really awful though - just people playing music and using admin commands and adding to the build for weird fun in a horror game.

The death of don't blink is just sad. It was such a fun and creative game.

Im glad doors exists because honestly a lot of Roblox "horror" games like piggy and others like it get wayyyyy too much attention than they really deserve, I hope doors can set the bar for Roblox horror games and in the future inspire more developers to make something unique.

Not a lot of horror games have a sense of humor, at least intentionally. Manor.exe seems really fun and the minefield in the bathroom trick is always hilarious

I remember Disturbed Planet, Fluttershy's Lovely House and Return to the Pizzeria! What was interesting about RTTP was that it followed a story-based format that was quite unusual for FNAF fangames at the time. The maker of FLH also made a few other MLP horror games, and a FNAF series called The Nights at the Children's Playpen too.

Let's talk about the thumbnail, the White smiley face is actually from a website. Once visited a flash animation would play of smiley faces turning white then black while saying "You are an idiot hahahah" over and over again. Once you try to close the tab however it will open yet another tab and slowly damages (Kind of) your computer.

When I was a kid I played the Fluttershy game in 2014 or 15 when I was a kid I was into Creepypastas I use to play Darkness 1 and 2 as a kid as well and Murder etc I wish it was back again it has been amazing. Even 7 days I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT IT me and my nephew we would play we actually would get scared hard

two other horror games i used to like that aren’t on this iceberg are called phobias and horror portals, but i absolutely love specter edit: i can’t remember if these were in part 1 of the iceberg or not but sacrifice sanctuary and the trials are amazing too (if they count as horror games)

My absolute favorite horror games on Roblox were the Darkness 1 and 2 games by Loleris. Just could not get enough of them, I remember always getting on Roblox just to play those games, it’s a shame that all these new updates broke the scrips. I wish the creator would come back to fix it, doesn’t even have to remake it or anything, just update the scrips so these classics are playable again. I also played Stop it Slender, which was very good, and is still functional. :)

I remember playing apeirophobia for the first time (I go into all horror games blind btw) with a lot of knowledge from the backrooms wiki, so when I got to level ! I expected a couple skin stealers or something behind you but nah there’s a titan smiler that crawls through the walls spider style. Combine that with the feeling it’s always right behind you and the random obstacles, I pretty much had a heart attack.

Ayy, so many nostalgic games mentioned in this list. Vampire hunters was my go to back in the day. Only game I had almost all of the gamepasses for. Bloodfest is also really great, absolutely recommend checking it out if yall haven't already.

KayLegion's nyctophobia is a pretty neat Roblox horror game. You have to find the keys in your house while managing you stress/panic meter and being followed by Radiohead a monster that can only attack you in the dark

Here to correct you on the Darkness entry. Yes, Darkness 1 is entirely broken. However a restoration of Darkness 2 has existed for some time now that fully functions just as intended.

I don't think it's explicitly a horror game but i think you should cover Akzu's basement. i remember playing it a few years ago and it was about this crazed man named Akzu who lived in a dingy basement and your task was helping him find items or fixing his broken A/C machine. It's broken now sadly but I wish it still worked because it's very nostalgic.

I remember a survive the killer-esque game that emphasized fighting back. It’s a pretty recent and decently well-known game, but I can’t find it for the life of me. The game literally tells you it isn’t about hiding and surviving; it’s about killing the killer. There were several different killer types with different abilities, with the default one being some sort of electric man. If someone could tell me the name of the game, that would be great!

ngl wasn't expecting a doctor who inspired game lol. the weeping angels are TERRIFYING in the show. they can only move when you don't look at them, and to 'kill you', they send you back in time instead of just killing you. all the moments you never lived, memories you never had, love you never gave to someone, that's what they feed off. makes for amazing stories

Vampire hunters 2 was literally one of the best games from my childhood. I’m almost 14 and I was like 8-9 at the time I played, around 2016- 2017, in that time the game was actually on mobile, but I think it got moved to only pc, and then got shut down :(

There's a game missing from this iceberg and it's been missing since 2017-2018 era, called "HTAED" it would feature one of the old Roblox houses morphing and distorting as weird muffling human noises would play. It is now replaced with the default testing place. Please tell me can anyone remember?
