I loved season 3. I was expecting to hate it because I was so upset that the series was ending. My family and I love this show. But the ending left us all very satisfied. I would love a spin off series of Will and Robots exploration adventures 😀
Thankfully since it was already a pre-planned 3 season show it closed out completely fine. Which I was so happy because some shows always end abruptly and leave some plot holes
This version of Lost in Space is criminally underrated. I think the show did a fantastic job, for a somewhat younger demographic. And I like the fact we get an ending. Too many shows wear out their welcome.
SciFi knows no age bounds...especially to older folks who were kids for the original series...that actually had a younger demographic like me at age 7....way back when....in 1965. FYI the original series only ran 3 seasons.
we don't know what their default is. I would assume their two arm form is default because they are peaceful in that mode. The four arm mode is attack mode.
Honestly, this show has to be one of the worst shows I've ever seen. I was just watching the old star trek with picard and then switched to this. The difference is astounding. Star trek actually seems really realistic in comparison. This show, "lost in space", is the dumbest thing, where a bunch of dumb children keep on saving the world. And they do it by this constant endless girly "motivatory" talk like, "are you feeling okay? omg this is so hard, but we can do it if we stick together. The Robinson family is the most important thing in the universe right now, because we love each other. We can do anything". Yikes!
It's the cheesiest cringe inducing thing and makes the whole show seem sooo unrealistic and unrelatable. Not to mention all the scientific facts that they got wrong, but never mind about that. I can't believe people actually enjoy watching such cringefests. A stupid little 14 year old girl is the "captain" and a grown man astronaut with presumably years of training can't fly the spaceship as good as her and then gets admonished by her, after which he sincerely apologises to his "captain". And then there's that dumb boy, the hero of the show "Will Robinson" who is all about his "heart" which gives him magical invulnerability and power, and basically makes him into the leader of the society who can do anything. Never mind all the adults around. In fact, the adults are the dumbest people on the earth and have chickens on their shoulders which they care for whilst in space. Cringe overload and soo unrealistic. I'm glad they ended this show. I don't think there was much more cringe they could have squeezed out of that anyway. It got extremely cringe repetitive after a while.
@@DVankeuren I think you replied to the wrong comment, and no, the robot's default mode is definitely the 4-armed version, which you would know if you paid attention to the 3rd season.
I would love to watch a "special episode" that shows us the history of the creative alien race, to see their organic form, their purposes, how they expanded across planets, how they created robots and the way SAR got out of control... It would be Amazing
I just saw the final episode last night. Although this series is ending, I don’t think the lost in space era is done. During the last episode will and the robot landed on another planet. I have a feeling a series spin off with Will and the Robot will be at high demand.
I don't think they wanted to stretch out the humans vs robot storyline out any longer. If they do a chapter 2 I like the Idea of a Jupiter 2 class exploration ship, first ship with human made drives, receiving a signal from Will Robinson and his android friend saying they are lost and can't get home. An they have to go an find them and track their path through space.
I think the series has grown in popularity with each season. I did not become invested in it until season two after my friend was going on and on about all the time. I think there is every possiblity of a new story src. The young actors playing Wil and Judy are extrodinarily talented and can easily carry a show. Saying that, the whole cast was excellent so I would welcome them all back
I think the robots were created to be an invasion force and were treated as tools. SAR rebelled but it's hatred for it's masters twisted it to destroy any organic lifeform. The reason being, by Will's interaction, any sentient organic can "imprint" on a robot, making that robot have a master. SAR didn't understand Will wasn't Robots master, it was his friend. SAR simply didn't understand the idea of friend. Only master and servant, and it refused to be a servant.
Perhaps not any organic lifeform, just intelligent life in general, as to secure his position as a free creature and extinguish the possibility of being controlled. His twisted worldview makes it impossible for him to see intelligent life as benevolent and he can't understand why Robot would willingly protect will if he wasn't being controlled. SAR is probably my favorite antagonist in a Netflix TV show, and season 3 surprisingly gave his character depth and motivation.
Oftentimes throughout the series, when a Robot comes to empathize with a human companion, it decides to reject its creators’ original appearance and adapt its features to be more human-like. We see this happen when Penny befriends and saves Sally. This transformation isn’t always the case though. Despite spending a lot of time with humanity and even befriending Ben Adler, Scarecrow never sheds his more alien look. According to the Lost in Space producers this was by storytelling design.
“We didn’t want it to be ‘in order to be good as a robot you have to look human,’” Estrin (show’s producer) says. “When we see Scarecrow in season 2 it was important to us that he doesn’t change shape. It’s at the heart of Lost in Space. Everybody has the power to be good.”
Fantastic video, I think it's important to note that at 6:21 when you say "Will used sounds from the alien keyboard to defeat SAR" That he didn't get that sound from the alien keyboard, but from the robots on Robot's planet after he fixed Will's heart after they witnessed Robot "sacrifice" himself to save Will. Also I want to say that Dr Smith was my favourite after Robot due to incredibly well written character development. The story describes the complexity of humanity through all the characters brilliantly, but I think it shows the greatest extremes through Robot and Dr Smith and I'd love to see a video from you on this subject if you're so inclined :)
The writers did a great job with character arcs, but of course being human, not everyone changes, like Smith and Adler did, such as the guy the wife traded the security override codes to in order to get Will on the passenger list. In fact one of my wife and my favorite characters was Ben Adler, despite him not really being on the show very long, or even getting much screen time. What screen time he had showed him questioning his own beliefs and actions, and finally sacrificing himself for Scarecrow, on whom he had committed such wrongs/evils, to try and make up for his actions. I loved that they showed Will following through on his promise to him, to tell Ben’s boys that he died trying to do the right thing, and that his death ultimately saved 97 children, Judy, not to mention Grant Kelly and his crew that wouldn’t have been found had Scarecrow not protected the transport with the kids onboard. Even Smith, up until Robot helped her, I didn’t care if she lived or died, in fact I was rooting for death, but they actually managed to redeem her, at least partially, by her choosing not to kill the Captain, despite knowing he would want to lock her up, then not only risking herself to save Will (I don’t think she ever put her own life at risk for anyone else before that, she saved a couple people, such as Judy when she was flying over the transport Jupiter, but never at risk of her own life,) but she actually cared for Will enough to not only risk her life, but agree to go back to robot infested planets to try and save everyone. Then finally, despite all the evidence against her being destroyed she wrote out and signed a confession for the Captain, having realized that despite the good behaviors she’s shown over the two years of the journey, they don’t make up for her past actions. It would have been very easy to make her a wonderful person overnight, and have everything being forgiven, but instead the writers knew there had to be an actual penalty, which is also why they killed Ben Adler, which my wife and I hated, as he was such a great character, especially after he saw the error of his ways, and was in effect a grown up Will.
No he did get the sounds from the keyboard. If you replay the time at episode 4 when Will is playing the sound it's the second sound. I think the aliens told him it was that sound.
I absolutely loved this series! So sad it's over 😢. Please tell me I wasn't the only one crying when SAR destroyed Scarecrow! I was hoping Scarecrow would be with Robot in the end. All in all, great series!
Stumbled across this series while looking for new things to watch. I was immediately hooked. I loved all three seasons and also liked the way it ended. It was well worth the watch time.
loved all seasons, including season 3. It has to be one of the most balanced out, well connected seasons of any series that I've watched, feels a bit sad that it was only 3 season, but I guess it was for the best way to end the story.
Season 3 was awesome. I loved it. I’m just sad it ended. I thought they’d have more “lost in space” spread across many different worlds before a grand finale.
i am obsessed with lost in space (seen every episode 7 times, i have books, comics, posters and have done loads of research on it) and the way he talks about it just makes me so happy. I was sad knowing season 3 is the final season but i did overall enjoy it ! I noticed Will's personnality and connection with the robot wasnt as strong in the season (exept for certain parts) and I know will is much older but i didn't see him as the same person, bright, curious and positive. Don't get me wrong i love will but Judy was leading season 3. Anyway i loved it when Bryce was like "so the 97 children, grant kelly, and the this french teacher where able to semi peacefully live..." It's just funny thinking of smith as the french teacher
I enjoyed watching it. For me one of the best sci fi series. I like the for his adventures, characters as Don West, how they are shown, despite the main story, what problems peoples can have and their hidden fears, complexes and their complexity. Season 1 and 2 I watched two times. I probably will watch all again.
I would love to see a spin-off series of Will and Robot going on adventures exploring and mapping the universe which I think they kind of hinted might be a possibility at the end of season 3
1:45 the robots don’t really have an “attack mode” they can change their body shape in relation to the organism they bonded with. Wills robot looked like it’s creators because they made them in their image, and only changed what they look like once he saw how will looked and decided to mimic it. Just not sure why scarecrow didn’t do that.
“We didn’t want it to be ‘in order to be good as a tobot you have to look human,’” Estrin (show’s producer) says. “When we see Scarecrow in season 2 it was important to us that he doesn’t change shape. It’s at the heart of Lost in Space. Everybody has the power to be good.”
Season 3 surprised me with an ending that wasn't obvious. Anytime a movie or show can do that, I give it 5 stars because that is really rare nowadays with Hollywood running out of idea and just reusing ones from before.
@@yeahkeen2905 that not surprising. I was referring to.... SPOILERS........ I was referring to the Robot in Will's heart and SAR being taken over by him. That I didn't see coming. Maybe I should have, still doesn't make it any less a great ending.
I absolutely love the design of these robots, and their variations of their body panels and even the colors of their lighting, including light red, dark red, yellow, blue and I think I saw a few with white (not counting the white when Scarecrow and Robot were connected with each other across Star systems.) I would love to see a full sized 3D model of a couple of them, so I could take my time and check it out from different angles, as there was so much incredible detail included on them, but you never really get good static shots of them to example the beauty of their design. Additionally, the effect within their facial globes, heads or whatever you want to call it, is simply stunning, despite basically being the ultimate version of a decades old screensavers, but at the same time it’s so much more, and I’d love to have a true version of that as a screensaver, but while many aim for something similar, I’ve yet to see anything that looks even reasonably close to what they pulled off.
@aimv, kowalski yeah, I’ve seen that. I’d figured it was a suit in a lot of scenes simply because the way it interacted with objects and characters. For example we never see the Robot pick up Will, even after SAR kills him, but that’s fine, as it’s really just the overall design I love, but you rarely get a good long look at most of it.
It took me a couple tries to become invested in this show, but after I finally managed to do so, I quickly fell in love with it. 'ROBOT' quickly became a synthetic version (or surrogate perhaps) of E.T. And, once that was in the back of my mind, it was impossible not to become VERY attached to its well-being. Its relationship with Will is precious and inspiring. Such a great show. Not quite on the level of 'The Expanse', but still great. 'The Expanse', by the way, is without a doubt, the best Sci-Fi tv show of the 21st Century. If you haven't seen it yet, you don't know what you're missing. It's utterly brilliant.
I have a theory that the robots mimic the form of whoever they obey (wanted to obey- like how you can let some dogs run around off leash and they will still can back to you) . Once they were free from the code and could do what they wanted, they could change forms, like how Robot mimicked the human form. When they were still under there programing they looked like the species the created them; their default. The reason scarecrow didn't change was because he was still under the old programing.
Season 3 - "They just can't catch a break!" I screamed at the TV screen to my 15yo daughter's horror. ;-) after every episode in the first 2 seasons! This season, it was tough to watch Will's near death, but awesome to see their plans and quick thinking result in victory after victory! Therefore, our favorite season. BTW - Excellent break down of the series. You are great at this! Congrats!
I think the reason the robot did as will said was because will had saved him. The robots creators may have coded them to do whatever their creator/saviour did, this is the same to when Dr Smith saved him at the end of S1. When SAR was first introduced, he helped Robot break free from Dr Smiths control. Robot then made his own choice to save will because they were friends. That is why there is a noticeable change in robots behaviour when he is found in S2. He is no longer following his code, and sees Will as his friend rather than his master.
Lost in space was easily the best thing I ever watched. I really wish that there could be a season 4 but its not gonna happen. I would like to see a spin off of everyones adventures, but I could see that ruining the story of lost in space. But I think they should do a series of the robots point of view. That would fill in all of our questions of why they did what they did.
Season three was excellent. Judy and Will where fantastic as the leads. Two excellent young talents with hopefully great futures in the busines. The strength of the cast and writing that allowed its viewers to have an affinity with the (good) robots where its greatest of many strengths
I just started rewatching the show. I love this show so much. They did a good job foreshadowing some of the reveals later on in the series. So sad they only made three seasons.
Spoilers: (Read this It' funny) SAR's death in a nutshell: Sar stabs will on the heart. He did this once, and he planned to do it right this time. But will knew that. Sar looks at will in disbelief, as will is unfazed. Blue light crawls up his arm, being overtaken by Robot's consciousness. Will mutters to SAR: "You should have gone for the head"
LOVED it.. each episode played like an expensive movie, the quality, the acting, the tech, the CGI... just wonderful.. sorry to see it go.. Forever Lost in Space fan.. I was born in the early 60s and watched the original show n I have a Robot replica of the 60s version on my bedroom dresser LOL..
The robots can do whatever the writers made up on the spot for each episode. This series had amazing production quality but it's a shame they spent too much time on cheesy family moments than consistent world building.
Facts, It Was Too Disney For Disney 🤦🏾♂️. Overly Dramatic In everything. A Whole Killer Robot Is Trying To Kill Them And They’re Having Cheesy Family Moments. The Dialogue And Pretty Much The Whole Show Was About The Mom. Show Should’ve Been Called Morine Robinson Hour. The Most Consistent Character Was Dr. smith. This Show Was Overhyped And Had Nothing To Do With Being Lost In Space. More Like Lost In Family 🤦🏾♂️What A Waist
How do 63 percent of people in that pole give the season 1 star?? Like seriously. The season was great. It was no season one, but it built on the lore and mythos of the show. Which is way better. And better yet...the show actually had an ending it wasn't just cancelled and the family left in limbo.
I can't think of any characters I've wanted to be killed off more than Dr. Smith. My friend said "it was her redemption arc!" and I said she's had dozens of redemption arcs in 3 seasons and she ALWAYS stabs them in the back just put a bullet in her already. Kudos to Parker Posey for playing the character so well. Overall I liked the series enough to keep watching. A lot of situations were too contrived, like they'd escape a situation only to be like "bad news, the ship/planet is going to explode in 2 hours!"
She had the biggest challenge of all the characters, not just because Smith is a slime bag, but because Jonathan Harris was the center of the original series, basically taking it over and changing it from action adventure focused on the dad to comedy and thrills focused around Smith. Harris was brilliant
The only thing I really though was bad about season 3 was Will's arc. (This is long, sorry) On paper, the concept of him going out on his own in a misguided attempt to save his family and the human race sounds nice. But throughout half the season something keeps stopping him from doing it, he's like "Robot, this is something I have to do alone. Farewell!" and then the engine on the ship dies or something and he has to put his plan on hold for another few days, and the same thing would happen the next time. It was just got kinda sad, it felt like he was just making lame attempts to be a hero at some points and just never got around to it. It felt like the writers planned on Will going on an adventure with robot to confront SAR, but there were budget cuts or time restraints and the writers just had will attempt to do what he thought he had to do, continually fail or get sidetracked, and do jack-sh*t the whole season. He spend an entire episode in a tree for crying out loud, trying to grab a bag. He wasn't there for fun, to relax, he was trying to grab a frickin bag in for a whole episode. Sorry that was long, but you get the point. Otherwise I loved Season 3!
This is such a good show, I will always remember watching the second season and seriously tongue tied for the cliffhanger and then waiting for a year for a date for release till finally watching it in December when it came out after I came back from school and watched it at 1 o clock.Goos days. S3 was fireeeee..... Love this series
You have some misinterpretation in this piece. Please go through Zack Estrin’s interviews, you’ll have a lot more clarity on why thing were written as they were. Just an example: “We didn’t want it to be ‘in order to be good as a robot you have to look human,’” Estrin says. “When we see Scarecrow in season 2 it was important to us that he doesn’t change shape. It’s at the heart of Lost in Space. Everybody has the power to be good.”
It was a complicated season full of much more intense drama and twists. It was much more dramatic, and it resolved very nicely. I thought it was very well done.
i liked the series after just watching eps 1. i watched season 3 when it came out and surprisingly, they did a really good job with it. and so, i started recommending my friends this cool series :)
Being a life long fan of LOST IN SPACE from the 60's till the present, Ya I am showing my age! It was wonderful getting closer on the series and so well written.!!
I felt like 8 episodes for S3 were not enough for the multiple story lines that were going on. Wish they could've slowed it down a bit more because it felt a little rushed. I fell in love with this show from the first episode and it will always be one of my favorites! So sad to see it end at season 3.
IKR season 3 felt so rushed. They didn’t really leave a lot of room for details. There was like 4 episodes that were about 35 minutes which was disappointing. They should’ve had a least ten episodes to explain things more
@@williebowen2965 it was so boring it spawned a 55year (and counting) loyal following 6 successful spinoff series, 10 movies and a series of new shitty rip offs. You're really on the mark there champ.
I didn't know this was going to be the final season. I actually got excited when the last episode was winding down and I realized what was happening. I'm so tired of shows that keep going past their natural endings. It's so satisfying to reach the end of what continued to be a good series and know that I can watch again anytime.
Season 3 was the best. It was perfect to end on a high note and the finale was way better than expected. It was also cool that they left the door open to a sequel.
For all its flaws and shortcomings, I actually enjoyed Lost in Space. Personally, I think it is better the show did not delve into the robots' origins. The glimpse we saw of their creators is terrific and terrifying. Will humanity suffer the same fate from its own A.I.? Anyhow... I do hope they make a movie some time in the near future. I'm imagining a few years after the show ended, a strange man comes to the Robinsons asking for help. Perhaps the movie spends a good amount of time building tension by playing into the family's doubts and distrust towards the stranger. Only to realize that the man is in fact an adult Will! Something went terribly wrong in teenage Will's last exploratory mission and he is now lost in time. And so the whole crew gathers once more to rescue Will. Yes, yes. The plot is obviously a nod to the 1998 movie. But why not? ✌️😅
I enjoyed season three, however, the subsequent death of SAR was a little bit of Good vanquishing Evil cliche. All in all, season three made a great ending for the show. I just feel as the show was just getting its footing around season two and I was expecting season three to flush out more of all the main and sub characters. The last season left me with a large amount of questions. I wanted to know more of their origins than extinction by creation. I would have loved to see some of their masters survive and try to retake their property while showing their true nature, for which caused SAR's revolt. I only saw three of the robots express any free thinking. SAR was the first, yet none of the other robots he fought with throughout the show ever questioned his motives or actions. Scarecrow was the second robot to become free thinking, however, his experience was more representative of the reason SAR revolted against his masters. Lastly, Robot was the third to express change in his programming which was facilitated by the innocence of Will. I would have liked to have seen SAR contemplate why he was still fighting after many of his troops chose not to fight the humans. He gets to live and joins Will after noticing he is alive and contains Robot's conscience. They then search the galaxy for a means to retrieve the conscience without harming Will.
My interpretation was that SAR was the only free thinking robot and he controlled all of the others. An he had a fear that he just couldn't give up that humans would attempt to reprogram him and his army. probably as the creators have tried to do. It clear the robots were treated as nothing more than slaves by those creators.
I also agree in saying that I still have a lot of questions after watching season three. I really enjoyed the last season, but they didn’t really leave a lot of room for details which was disappointing. I would’ve loved to learn more about their masters and how they treated the robots instead of just showing their dead skeletons. Maybe they treated the robots very harshly which made SAR want to kill them. It also would’ve been cool to see a more in depth look at SAR’s past or something like that. I just feel that this season had a lot of missed opportunities. It would’ve been much better if they had full ten episodes so they could explain things more
@@DavidKnowles0 That is a good point that the viewer can infer from SAR’s actions that it may have been the case, however, SAR is a major villain towards the crew. So, he should’ve had some sort of flash back instead of just him telling Will what he did. We do not know if the revolt was naturally occurring or was SAR reprogrammed by a radical group. Many forms of media have shown AI once gaining sentience turn on their creators. It is explained why the AI revolts , but not in the case of SAR. We never know exactly how far SAR’s sentience was and to kill his creators like the manner in the matrix movies is too much lazy writing.
Definitely one of my favourite tv show ever. The final season was brilliant and I loved the ending (I usually hate the ending of tv shows). Not gonna lie, I cried a couple of times
0:26, 1:35, 11:41, and 11:51 that wasn't SAR, that was the general Robot who died when his ship crashed into the destroyed resolute at the end of season 2. SAR was "dead" when those Robots attached the resolute and for the 3 episodes prior, cause he was "killed" by Ben Adler.
I finished the series yesterday after binge-watching it. I think the whole story is quite easy to follow, even when you are already in S3.. The backsplashes do help telling the whole story too... What happened with the two other crew members of Gene ? I missed that part.
Sars 2nd body was also more advanced and newer. So Robot got an upgrade. I would love to see a sequel show with Will and Robot exploring the galaxy and discovering new races. That would be awesome. Maybe humans and Robots become allies against an enemy? Maybe the same enemy the builders of the robots were fighting, and the reason for the robots existence?
This series was very satisfying. I like that it ended after 3 seasons. They could reboot from a future civilization on new earth. Lots of intrigue and adventure. I hope they continue the adventures of the space family robinson.
What you call 'attack mode' it just the robot's natural state... they reform themselves into a human image when they 'break free' of their programming (if its a human that helps them do it). This is why robot has six fingers, because he's combined two arms that had three fingers each.
I give the third season a 7/10, it was really goodand it seemed like a good ending to the series, but I felt that the development was too fast. For example, Will had his heart destroyed, after tremendous surgery replacing his heart, Will would have to stay for at least a few days before he could even get up, but in the series it took him a few hoursto get up, he was even able to walk again a few hours later. The development in a series has to be slow and clear, I know they wanted to end the series as quickly as they could, but ending the series without the development or the necessary data for most of the events in the last season is something not pleasant for most fans. But it was good, I liked it :D
I didn't like how the robots will just turn on SAR and the rest of the robots by just helping them piece themselves together, I thought that was pretty dumb to be honest
@@1999deshan honestly I liked the idea of the robots simply wanting to take back what was taken from them and that the humans were in the wrong but the writers decided to do the simple thing and just make the robots evil/controlled by one evil robot that wanted to kill them all.
I was surprised to see doctor Smith Grab Judy out from being lost in space? and I can't wait for season 2 to come out on DVD I am watching Lost in space weekly not as a marathon so I'm seeing spoilers here. This is better than the original
I love Lost In Space but I felt the ending was like the ending of “Lost” it was rushed to end the show & left a lot of things unanswered. Dr Smith was hardly used in Season 3. Don was hardly seen. I was hoping for cameos of Marta Kristen & Mark Goddard. It’s was like the writers gave up.
Developing AI to the point it's self aware with emotions always gives me goosebumps. And it WILL happen sooner or later. But what next after creation of AI like this? It can be humanity's best friend or worst nightware, depends what people will do with it. Developing such advanced Ai makes me excited and scared at the same time. Look at Mass Effect and geth story. This is a perfect written example of what could happen D:
Conscience thought or being sentient isn't even a concept that is understood much less any ability to duplicate it. Though we live in a world of sophisticated algorithms, that does not equate to understanding in the least bit how conscience or self-awareness even works. AIs only function according to their programming. Changing this programming could be equated to the leopard changing his spots as you would have to change the very nature of AI into something sentient. As no amount of external stimuli would do this, it would take more "programming" to override or change the previous AI programming to make it something more than what it was. The complexities and probabilities are not understood or known, therefore they cannot even be calculated. This AI becoming more than just AI is the fanciful ideas of Science Fiction and Fantasy and that's where it will always be. IMHO!
Seems you're brainwashed by science fiction. No there's no guarantee at all that it 'will happen'. AI isn't life. It's just programming. Computers. You can't give life to a computer, making it think and feel by itself, just by giving it complex software. Feelings and consciousness don't come from complex programming Explain to me how you would be able to hurt or torture a computer, just by making it complex. You're ridiculous. A bunch of computers that we have today, added together are already more complex than a brain
5:55 I still don't know when exactly that flashback takes place. I don't know if I missed anything when I was watching Season 3, but I can't think of any point in the show's timeline where that flashback could take place.
Am I the only one who thinks that the robots were built on different planets in the Danger System based on the planetary rings, and the markings? Robot has a different symbol that was said to be of the water planet (presumed), but Scarecrow has a symbol found only on the desert planet. It's possible that these rings are the founding point of the robots, and each robot is branded with the symbol which represents the exact location on the ring on each planet. When Scarecrow was rescued, notice how hundreds of robots instantly spawned next to him? All of this isn't stated, but it's just a little tid-bit type of thing that I think adds to the overall story. It's the home system of the robots, hence the "Danger" nickname given to it by Robot.
I liked season 3, but the thing that kind of ruined it is that they have more plot holes and crazy ideas that seem pretty unrealistic. Also they basically took away everything that made the robot unique, and now there’s basically more of him. I like how in season one there’s mostly only one robot, it’s interesting when he has a sense of danger to him but now he’s just perfectly nice and all the other robots get to be the villain. In my opinion season one is definitely the most well made and thought out, with the least plot holes, and most realistic concepts.
My husband and I enjoyed the 3rd season of LIS. We did have trouble distinguishing SAR from the other Alien robots. What are SAR’s unique physical features?
in general his red is more akin to scarlet while the others are more near an orange thingy, and his metal parts are almost shiny white, like platinum, while the others are a generic metal color
