Meet Khalid Tunsi @altaat3, a rock art photographer from Medina, Saudi Arabia.
He is on a mission to document the country's rich cultural heritage.
Saudi Arabia possesses world-class rock art in its magnificent deserts, from 1,300-year-old Islamic writings to 2,000-year-old Nabati carvings, to inscriptions covering 10,000 years of history.
Khalid is passionate about capturing Islamic and Non-Islamic rock inscriptions found throughout the Kingdom.
He has meticulously documented thousands of locations over the past ten years and taken hundreds of thousands of photos.
His lens takes us on a journey through time, exploring the ancient history of Saudi Arabia.
To him, every inscription tells a story of a society that vanished.
Those are not just rock art but detailed records of the ancestors of today's Arabs.
As Khalid continues his quest for photographing rock art, he provides hope that this heritage will be celebrated and cherished for generations to come.
