The Rock featured on Joe Rogan’s podcast where he discussed Tom Aspinall’s recent knockout win at UFC 295. All footage is used under the fair use act. #tomaspinall #joerogan #therock #ufc
He’s made the heavyweight division so much better to watch, I used to find it a little slow as UFC devisions went but I think Tom’s in my top three favourite fighters.
@@Antibot2025wtf are you talking about? Joe calzaghe was a welsh fighter, he had many uk fans same with Carl frampton. You're just looking to act like a victim and it's pathetic.
@TestySatchel I have no problem with casuals, I'm only going at the rock for it because he's a phony personality that blends in with whatever gets him the most money, look at what he's doing with Hawaii right now, radio silent. Complete coward
thing that impresses me so much is how well rounded he is. is supposed to be a BJJ specialist yet has arguably the best striking game in the division and is knocking people out left right and centre
@TestySatchel because Gane has superior kickboxing and footwork and Almeida is a probably the best heavyweight other than jones in the division. Almeida’S take downs and submission game would be a danger for Aspinall as well as Gane. Also remember that Aspinall has been submitted via healhook before. Aspinall wont reign long if he does at all. They said the same for stipe and that deck of cards fell, now they’re looking for Aspinall to be the next dominant champion.
@@fuchfred4646 That’s your opinion that he’s quicker than Gane. Gane has superior accuracy and is not much slower if he even is at all. I mentioned that loss in 2015 not for my argument about Gane but for jones. Ppl like you act as if he’s some untouchable undefeated fighter. Jones has never been defeated, and the one time he got caught in a submission, he had his arm broken and continued to win by submission against Vitor. Jones doesn’t quit, he fights harder. Aspinall has a tapout on his record. Belt colours in MMA honestly doesn’t matter, jones a purple belt has 7 submission victories and Almeida has 12. Tom has 3, so he’s not as much as a jiujitsu threat as those two men are. Mark my words Tom will lose pretty handily against Gane, Almeida and Jones. Tom is the latest hype that I’ve seen get derailed time in time again over the years. Heck, Stipe 5-8 years ago was the latest so called unbeatable heavyweight with people like you. Ppl want to call The Curtis blydes fight a freak accident, but ppl weren’t willing to say the same with Silva. You know what? Neither was I. If you’re in a fight with someone and you throw a kick, and step back and tweak your knee, you lost that fight. A competition is a competition. The minority would say that’s not a legitimate loss, but I say it is. We seen Aspinall lose twice. Jones never lost and twice jones fought through adversity and won. He’s also fought twice with broken bones and went on to finish his opponent. His durability is second to none, and it’s a joke to me that many are willing to say he will beat jones. I would be money that not only can’t he beat jones, he can’t beat Gane or Almeida.
This man will take them all down...I've been watching ufc for along time and have never seen a man of this caliber...in the heavy weight...this is my opinion no one else's...he is pound for pound the best today...I dont think there will be a heavy weight in the next 10 years that will beat him...
I don't want to see Jon Jones fight Tom anymore. No need to see Jones laying on his back starring at the ceiling wondering what just happened. Jon needs to retire after the Stipe geriatrics fight and let Toms reign begin peacefully...
joe "sergei is the scariest fucking striker in all of mma" rogan. he doesnt even watch it anymore he just does commentary on the 3 or 4 shows a year gets his money and forgets about it. there are so many great people who are dying to get any spot doing that and he doesnt need the money he just needs to be known as the ufc guy for his image.
I would love to see Gane vs Aspinall because I believe Gane would win. To Shut all these clowns who are claiming Jones is ducking Aspinall, meanwhile Jones was willing to fight Ngannou who is way more dangerous. People are desperate to see jones lose, just like they were with Mayweather. Too bad Mayweather never lost, and the same will happen with Jones even if he fought this latest great hope hype.
@@galmart3111 Aspinall isn’t the greatest take down artist, so I don’t think he will pose much of a threat there. He will stand and trade with Gane, and Aspy will get pieced up. Ganes kickboxing is superior. Heck I don’t even think Aspinall can beat Jailton Almeida. Almeida will be difficult for both Gane and Aspinall. Aspinall is the latest hype train that will be derailed in time.
@@duddelove9229 yup and they have nerve to say he’s ducking aspinall. Ngannou is way more dangerous and skilled with his hands. The scariest knockout artist ever and “oh my” jones is afraid to fight this British guy but not afraid to fight Ngannou. The logic of some people man. Tom afraid of Gane? Gane wants to fight Tom, but Tom said in the post fight presser that he didn’t want to fight him. You hear no one say anything about him ducking Gane. People have their biases, but most of the time their biases have no substance and zero facts on their side, just pure emotion and hope their new hero becomes that dominant champion.
@@amanfightsincluding myself. Naturally bigger and more conditioned in fighting at hw. Has 15lbs on jones. Alongside being far quicker and slick on the feet, his ground game is undeniable. I genuinely don’t see any path to victory for anyone on the roster besides a flash KO
He is a great fighter and an awesome teacher, BUT he has the fatal flaw. He has that chine up when he has the advantage. When it happens it will be huge. I'm a fan but it will happen.
@@thomasbays8292to be fair, Francis got taken down by Cyril Gane, Stipe's old ass only failed his single leg takedown because he turned the wrong way , Francis isn't as perfect as people think
