Can it do stem outs from resampling to a pad? I find the resampling method is the best way for me to make beats on the SP. It really brings out the sound and capabilities of the instrument.

I wish that sound generator was a one partial zencore engine, because there is nothing you couldn't do just as easy with a folder full of waveform samples, but I guess it's something.
Getting more MPCish, which is a good thing for me. These are the features it needed when I had it. Especially the sound generator and being able to export stems. I might have to jump back on one……
The pre set measures thing isn’t sexy but that kind of thing is so helpful for the way my brain works. It stresses me out having stuff like that open ended.
Heads up that it looks like the SP404 wasn't in Koala controller mode fully or whatever was going on. It should recognize and map all parameters, including pattern mode which would switch you to the pattern mode in the Koala app
I personally believe something is coming. Because they sent out surveys asking people of all preferences and features we are looking for. But when I did it, it seemed more like something they already had built.
Whats the point of the looper exactly? I could record these sounds on a pattern and then bounce them to a pad. Am i missing something here? I dont get the point.
Same here! No. Skip back is a fonction that record the last 40sec of everything you do. You dont need to hit record/resample. That allow you to catch a lot of things on tje fly. In fact i rarely use record/resample. I simply have fun with my sp404 and use the Skipback fontion to record (afterward) what i just did.
They are two different units that have different work flows. You can do everything on your key 37. I however, love using the SP 404 to change up work flows from time to time
Music Equipment reporters ! should it be the new term or category for certain you tubers, because your you tube careers is 70 per cent reporting on musical equipment and 30 percent actually making beats on you tube, all of the you tubers have almost the same exact dated time lines with your last interactions with certain equipment, like when the mpc x came out, y’all used that, until the mpc x se came out, then you used that, until the mpc key 61 came out, then y’all used that until mpc key 37 came out, is this a fair assessment ? Are you tubers more gear heads, than actual real beat makers and true music producers, because I was looking for beat making content on RU-vid for the mpc x se and most of the vids is like 10 months old from every so called music producer, with hardly any actual beat making content, I only found like one or two different people with vids, who still produce current you tube vids about there actual beat making journey on the mpc x se, now everyone is up on this Roland sp update, so am I tripping ? or is this a fair assessment ! Is you tubers ( Music Equipment reporters ) aka gear heads or are they actual music producers that actually do full on music production ? Just a general observation ! no static ! Bolo as a you tuber yourself, I was wondering what is your thoughts on this term and title ?
