The VR760 is my favorite Roland organ. I once had a Korg BX3 organ but like the MORON I am, I sold it! I ran it thru a Leslie and it killed! Thanks for watching.

I'm looking to replace my stage keyboard, and the VR09 seems to be 99% what I'm looking for, but I cannot seem to find one thing asking around / watching videos / reading the manual: Can you use SPLIT and LAYER simultaneously? For instance, can you have a piano AND strings on the upper keyboard, AND a bass on the lower end?

...The way to do registrations / saving on my Roland VR-09B ver 1.12 is a bit strange. .Its a pain, but I guess I need to study more ..but I really like this 09 more and more..BR Totto

I think the manufacturers design operations on their keyboards to be different than the other manufacturers to keep players locked into their brand.

Hey Keith! I know how you feel! It’s very frustrating. Why can’t they just make a perfect synth? - There are SO many more quirks than you got into. I have owned my VR09 since 2017 and have played many many shows with it and have had no problems. I’ve run it mono, stereo and through tube and solid state Leslie’s, but I use it as a secondary board to my FA06 because of the quirks. I absolutely hate that it doesn’t accept MIDI IN, so that could be controlled externally by a keytar on stage. Another thing is the editor app for iPad edits the “Synth” parameters - but not the organ! You can make really deep live changes on the iPad to your SYNTH sounds and they affect the sound coming from the board instantly. But any changes you make on the iPad in ORGAN does nothing. If you make a change on the board while on an organ setting it WILL show on the app - but what good is that? If you just want a LIGHT (12lb) board for piano and B3, the VR is great. For a board to use as a sound designer or creative tool, look elsewhere. Great channel. Great video. Keep it up! 🍺

I have problem with expression pedal with Roland fantom x6 and behringer crave synth - They are fight together with cc messages and this is suck. We , Multi keyboard players need to live with more keyboard to solve our problems 😂 greetings from Poland @faknwo
