THE ROLE OF A PUBLICIST 

It's always a treat seeing and hearing from publicists from different fields. A publicist can work with a variety of clients from different industries. Their scope of work vary greatly depending on the client's objectives, however, some of the main responsibilities include, reputation management, pitching and securing media placements, coordinating media interviews, entering clients to relevant awards, assembling press kits and materials, media training, branding and messaging, etc.

A publicist is a person whose job is to generate and manage publicity for a company, a brand, or public figure - especially a celebrity - or for a work such as a book, film, or album. ... Publicists brand their clients by getting magazine, TV, newspaper, and website coverage.

Facts. There's often a disconnect on the client's part. I don't mind working along with other publicists... Do whatever works for your budget but keep us on the same page so that we can deliver the best work for you.
