@@rosevillasenor6564 Yes there may be some, but this one is obviously fake. At the beginning you can see a part of the track glitch for a split second and how the cart makes a downward motion midair is also impossible unless there was some force guiding it which is the track. Without it, it would hit the other side of the track directly and not land onto the track in the first place. It would just slam into it.
@@bruhyt4655but the video shows the car is traveling at a curve midair? if the car is traveling at a curve when on the track, it’s going to go in a straight line when being in the air no matter what (at least to my knowledge of centripetal acceleration. i might be spitting absolute bs idk). newtons first law isn’t going to apply a force to cause the car to change the direction (and make it travel in the curve of the track) while midair
Bro you could literally see the photoshop glitching out 💀💀 Edit: You guys are little babies stop arguing in the comments like saying “nooooo photoshop is for photos not videos” ain’t gonna do nothin 💀💀
Ok well here's me. Laaaaaaaame! Editing against blue sky, someone call Capt Disillusion to see how this miracle might have occurred. This is the shit that people used to put in thumbnails 5 years ago til RU-vid stopped it.
For those who don't know, this is fake. They used a tool to cut the track out. It is not possible for trains to fly at the exact same velocity as it detached. Also can't the train make a turn if there's nothing to sit on.

@@certaindiaster59correct because if they did and someone got hurt, they could lose a shitload of money and hurt their reputation which leads them to lose even more money. And we all know companies and corporations hate losing money and will do whatever it takes to maximize profits
It doesn’t that is a Vekoma boomerang coaster and that black part you see under the cars is like the sled thing with the catch on it so the cars stop at the top of the spike.
It’s edited. You can see a bit of track glitching at the beginning, and if you look closely the rails appear when the train goes over the gap. This is also impossible to do in real life, because there are so many uncontrollable factors that would affect the train’s alignment.
reposting this for everyone praising the editing. Theres a natural blue screen... key it out and mask with another piece of the sky. Edges aren't even correct, it glitches at the first couple frames. Theres about 7 seconds of "VFX" - This could even be done frame by frame in photoshop in a day.
Not too bad compositing. Personally I would have spent a little more time rotoing out the wheels in that section. But the track isn't sliding so that's good
It’s actually a pretty easy edit since it’s just erasure/replacement with sky. Would take seconds to do a rough version, and very little time to do a smooth one even with a phone app.
For those who don't know, this video is a metaphor for how BOOMERANGS make you feel. Not because It's so smooth, it's like gliding on air, but because it hits the end of the jump wrong and breaks your neck and tailbone!
It's cool, and of course it's extremely calculated, but yes, many things can happen that weren't supposed to happen, such as a cart error or malfunction causing it to fall off the rails.
I know that you are in Connecticut during this video I have been there recently. I used to go there when I was younger. The theme park is called Lake Compounce
It's fake. A ride like that would never work because of wind factors and even things like how heavy or light the passengers are. Even if off by a few lbs would cause it to dip enough to fail
Ok, so, when I was but a wee lass, I was obsessed with designing rollercoasters. One day, I had a really REALLY good idea for one, and this video is literally the idea I had. Props to the editor.
yo i think i remember that from when i was in like preschool… is that the one where you could build your own track and they had a mouse themed roller coaster? bc i remember being like 5 and playing that in school on the computer that’s crazy
I grew up in Chicago AND was an addict. It’s not as bad as it sounds. Just never go to the south or west side unless you’re trying to get drugs or shot. The rest of the city is amazing and the suburbs are really nice and affordable. Baltimore is WAY worse. You can google it
@pearsemclarnon3633 not enough testosterone in his body because the our bodies are based on xy and xx chromosomes so he didn't get enough when he was in his mother's womb
Back when I was a kid, I heard there was a track near us that used to have an open spot that it would jump over. This was 40 years ago, Lightning something, White Lightning or some name I can't remember. Brings back the fear of hearing about that coaster.
@ProdigyAutomotive not even that, wind, and dirt are a factor as well. Speed of the car varies by just a little depending on overweight of the car, like you said. Also greased or dry tracks, rain and probably a bunch of other reasons. It is possible in a very controlled environment and even then there will be mistakes
It's not a big deal. There's a limit to how curved the cars can be from each other so so essentially it should become a rigid structure as it's bent and therefore all you have to worry about is having enough energy which is a simple enough calculation
@midnxghts. Oh I'm rude? You're vulgar, embryo. Your generation could learn a lesson in tact and civility, miss paragon of virtue. If you're woke, you need to go back to sleep... 😏
this reminded me of that ancient Freddy Wong video where they go to theme parks on the deadest day of the year. It's just like a normal ass vlog but then they randomly have shots of roller coasters doing stuff like this with tracks missing Great gag video! Well done
Why do so many people in the comments think this is real? It's just the boomerang coaster made by Vekoma (Vekoma is a company that produces coasters). Because of physics, this ride would not function
@@IcedCube0310 Still you chose to read the comments and since that joke is everywhere you would assume you would see it. You could have kept that first comment to yourself instead of being negative.
There is a roller coaster in Six Flags, Maryland, called The Superman. It’s called Superman because it gives you a good amount of air-time. That type of ride is fully safe and functional.
Back in the 90s, my wife and I almost split up before ever getting married because we went to Six Flags, and they had some sort of park-wide electrical failure which caused brakes on rides to fail. Wifey was very unhappy and somehow I was to blame. At the time, there was a whole lot of confusion, and very little in the way of answers. Wasn't until we got home and started watching the news that we found out what had really been going on. Apparently, some folks actually got hurt pretty badly by rides when cars ran into other cars.
@@bashbash-tx5bz Yes I did, because I can not imagine life without her. Sometimes we fuss and fight, but mostly we kiss and cuddle. No couple is perfect.
I see your wife's problem. I just read your whole story, and still have no idea what happened! Lol One of us is bad at communicating. We've already proven it's you. 🤣
