Buy the original song here itunes.apple.c... I'm playing a heavily modified Fender Jazz Bass, going through a Fender Bronco 40 Bass Amp and hooked to Garageband.
+Jack Findlay Thanks! I love that amp! It's excellent for the price and size, and it works really well with my Mac and garageband. Couldn't be happier with it!
I have that one too. I started taking it to practices for convenience. When the rest of the band is a little loud, I run the line out through the board and boost the low end on the EQ. It's a great sounding amp. I put it in KGB setting with a little compression.
Thanks for sharing. My comments are: No G at 1:35. Try F#. You need a note that works with the A major chord played at that section. G is a dominant/minor 7 relative to A. F# is the 6 in the A major scale and will sit just fine with that chord. Even though bass is technically not a "chord" instrument, we definitely "define" chords with the notes we choose.
Ya do it..well ya make it nice..fine way ..just did as Bill..great Ears mate...ya look clean and nice...just a few years youĺl see. Take care and oall the Best Young stonE . ALL thE BeST !!!!
Hello, where did exactly did you get that bass body? I'm pretty sure that was built buy a good friend name Chet here in mid Michigan. Is the bass really thin and have a bunch of routing under the pickguard?
It's a Hybrid piece, that I have assembled from a few guitars. The neck is a Jazz Bass neck from an American Jazz Bass, the body comes from a Precision Bass that was made in Japan. The Electronics, bridge, pick guard, nut and tuning keys are all made in the U.S. from the Fender Custom Shop. I have also installed a Select | EMG pickup on it.
