Me too, but we will forgive all if Paris Abbatoir show is released on Blu ray box set ( best of both nights with highlights of Knebworth as a bonus disc🔥🙏👍
Love You Live and the whole 76 tour was really poor. The only good number on the record was Only Rock and Roll and it was recorded in the States in 75. The tour was so bad that it took them 6 years to come back to Europe.
without a good lead guitarist where did they want to go? These are mediocre performances. Keith choosed ron cause they were good friend. In a professional level, friendship must be apart. what did they do if Keith did an intelligent choose? with Ron they became a common band. It was just involution
I love Black and blue but Weyne Perkins played solos guitar. Keith too is too limited as lead guitarist. in all their carrier you gon't find a true blues solo.
I talk about Keith. Mick is one of the best ever .Listen to my post Golden blues from Italy part 3 and Rock n roll and blues part 2 and 3. On the part 1 i do Star star and She said yeah Keith style guitar
I am a stones fan since i was little kid. I am agree with your argument. But led guitarist is important. love in vain without Ry cooder mandolin and Taylor solo guitar were not the same really. In fact with Wood their music became ordinary except any very good songs. A great lead guitar is important in a rock band. I am not talking about virtuoso but a significant lead guitar
Agree with all here on BOTH sides especially Keef sprinkling his pixie dust on the chords and that's why I also feel that The Stones were BEST with Taylor but Brian & Ronnie were right there too man...
Glenn Karant this argument is utterly absurd.....Ron Wood is great lead player......he shreds magnificently on you can't always get what you want from this period ....he plays fantastic...funk...reggae....the boogie jamming and "weaving" back and forth between them is fantastic......prior to this Richards would sleep walk thru shows.....barely playing or being heard behind the vituoso Mick Taylor.....Taylor's bombastic claptonesque lead assaults would wear thin especially since with the exception of his fingers would barely twitch or move a muscle during an entire show.....Ron Wood is a much better showman....he brought Hey Negrita to the Stones....its his song.....and yes...Wayne Perkins played great on Hand of Fate but where are your ears...Wood is playing great here....he's all over these tracks....including Hot Stuff and Cherry Oh Baby that they did on this tour....Richards plays fantastic wah wah lead on Fool to Cry live....blues leads...?how about Black Limousine....another Wood track that he kicks in the ass....Woods solo efforts are certainly better than anything Taylor did post stones....being reduced to the Clapton wannabe circuit in small clubs....Love You Live has always been the best live Stones album...not the overrated infantile get yet ya ya's out....
@@ilovebjorksomuch3189 how can the band that has been seen live by more people than any other in the world be considered underrated? Stupid comments come on
