Honestly love the Beatles and eagles ZZ top all great bands and concerts . The greatest band ever is matter of opinion and everyone has one , I am sure some people would say that the q Greatest band ever was Queen . But all of the band's mentioned are acts of past you need to discover the next great music act or band. For me that is the struts and all I can say is they are awesome
My wife and I saw the Rolling Stones in December of 1989 at the SkyDome in Toronto, Start me up was the first song at that time too. The Stones are every bit as dynamic today as in 1989 . Thanks for your excellent video.
In the 70's, 80's and 90's, that floor would have been a mass of writhing bodies. Now, somehow standing still and recording what you are seeing on your phone, never to be watched again, is more important than being in the moment. What a weird world. Band sound good though.
Except back in the day no one was allowed to bring in recording devices anyway. Having said that, I kept the phone in my pocket and lived in the moment last night, knowing someone else is recording it for my enjoyment later.
Argentinean audiences (Brazil, Mexico, and most of South America) both record and still jump/dance. USA and some Europe audiences seem to have forgotten how to enjoy concerts.
Saw them twice, once in "Bridges.." tour and this time. Yes, Keith and Ronnie are visibly past their prime and were out of touch at moments. Keith's singing wasn't memorable. Charlie died and Bill left the band. Sound was unclear at times, guitars too loud and drums undefined. Only Mick is his old best self. Having said that, the atmoshpere was great, they did the best they could, backing mnusicians did help a lot. And for us fans, it was a great show, we toned down our expectations and came to enjoy the moment, remember our younger days with rock legends we love and respect so much. Would go again tomorrow in a heartbeat.
As good as the stones may have been back in their prime this is not thier best performance. It's time to let them retire. If you have never seen them pick a tour date get a ticket and go. But if you have seen them before save the money and get an older stones concert on dvd my mom saw them in teen years it was her second concert she attended the first concert she saw was the Beatles
