Absolutely love this, I was raised up in trinitarian tradition and until the age of 35 I would always go to the altar only to leave the same way I came, but one day I was invited to an Apostolic church in Oklahoma City and I haven’t been the same since. And for 6 years I’ve been reading my own mail! Pardon me while I have a jubilee! Brother Urshan this helping so many people! I appreciate your hard work! Lord bless!

Let's examine what this verse is missing. It omits Repentance, it omits the commandments of baptism, it omits the baptism of the Holy Ghost, it does NOT link to what Peter preached on the day of Pentecost and the birth of the church. It does not address how your sins are remitted. Paul addresses Baptism in Romans 6:3-5, he also addresses obeying the doctrine in Romans 6:17-18. It becomes evident when reading Romans 10:9-10 that this epistle was addressed to the Christian Jews, those that were already born-again believers, but were still trying to obtain righteousness by obeying the law. They did not understand that righteousness came by faith; not by the works of the law, and part of their faith needed to include confessing Jesus Christ, as their Messiah and Savior. You NEVER read of conversion in the Epistles, because the letters were strictly for teaching and admonishing the saints of God, and this becomes evident when you read them. And lastly the Epistles are addressed to believers, not sinners, which is confirmed by the salutations of each Epistle.

Brother Urshan, may God bless you. I have a “request” if I may, and may the Lord guide you if you feel led to cover this one day. However First off, I wish I had the words to describe my thankfulness, and the impact this channel has had in my life these past couple of months. I do not have social media, otherwise I would’ve messaged you through one of those channels. The most recent episode I listened to was your interview with “crucial conversations”; and I was in absolute awe when you delved into the life stories of your family. You’re transparency and authentic christian character is what ministers to me most. Now in light of this “request”; I am 24 years old, and am getting married November 20th this year. I would love to hear your thoughts and advice on getting married and the “adjustments/dynamic” that comes with getting married. In hindsight, What are some things you learned when you were married at that age? With my fiancé and myself involved in ministry, what are some important things to consider? From a seasoned, married apostolic man such as yourself; what are some words of wisdom you would give to all the young apostolic men about to get married? God bless you and this channel as always 🙏🏽

I appreciate your insight. Especially looking through the lens of the book of Acts. I recently taught to look at New Testament doctrine through the lens of Deuteronomy 6:4 frontlets between thine eyes.(Godhead) I teach Romans 10 by showing context looking at context of chapters 9 beginning and end of the chapter. Beginning and end of 10. Beginning and end of 11. You find the focus is on the Jews who rejected Christ. THEN look at any good study bible will show Paul is not introducing a new testament concept but using quotes from Deuteronomy 30. Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart is from Deuteronomy and it's the first step for the jews getting back on track where the rejected Jesus. I use Deuteronomy 28,29, and 30

Great teaching! Perhaps you could explain in Hebrews 9 where it talks about the candlestick and the table and the shewbread. Now we teach about the candlestick and the shewbread; however, we regulate the table to little significance. The scripture does not do that. The table is placed between the other two showing it has just as much importance, otherwise, God could have easily placed table in such a way that would show it was less important than the other two. Would you agree with that? Since this is a foreshadowing of the church I wonder if we aren't missing something? Am I'm off the mark here Bro Urshan? It may not be a salvation issue but I would like your thoughts as I they know will be bible based. Thank you for your time and God bless you in His Name, JESUS.

Paul in Rom 10:13 and Peter in Act 2:21 both quote from Joel 2:32: …whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13 is often taken out of context to support the position that only confession is required to “be saved”. However, Zephaniah’s prophesy provided further revelation/clarity concerning the prophesy of Joel: Zep 3:9 For then will I turn to the people *a pure language*, *that they may all call upon the name of the LORD*, to serve him with one consent. We witness the ultimate fulfillment of this in Acts chapter 2 when they spoke in other tongues (I.e. the only pure language)

It’s sad that so many church’s are preaching a different gospel. By adding to & taking away through the traditions of men. Not going through the Book of Acts. The only church ordained by Jesus Christ. He taught the Apostles for 3 1/2 years. We all have to love the truth or we will be sent a strong delusion & believe a lie.

You are looking through Acts, Which is a narrative and therefore should not be seen as a formula for salvation. When you read the entirety the Bible, it had always been by grace through faith and anything we add is a command or a law. It is the Lord who draws and the one who saves alone. We can do nothing but receive what the Lord has provided.And while I agree that there is no saying is sinners prayer, it’s not that simple. It is true repentance and only the Lord can see a person’s heart and know whether or not they are going to turn from repentance to obedience. It is only after true repentance is one obedient to be baptized. But the water does not save you. In the New Testament Gospels, ad well as many epistles, he verifies what the true gospel is. (Romans chapters 1-5 if you choose to read) The gospel is the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, it is not Acts2:38. Acts 2:38 explains what happened when the Holy Spirit came and the languages that were spoken were KNOWN and understandable to those who heard them. In my opinion, you are looking at the book of Acts through oneness Apostolic glasses. I agree there is no formula spoken that one is saved, there is no specific prayer, it is specific to each person when they ask for forgiveness and repent. However, You are adding works to salvation doctrine. Jesus saves only by his blood.Jesus plus anything, in my opinion, is heresy. The Father draws you BY the Holy Spirit and it is THROUGH Jesus, one is saved. I came out of oneness Pentecostalism and believe by studying line upon line there is no way around grace through faith. As a Trinitarian, I do believe in one God, I also believe that we will never fully understand it. It isn't a new revelation. You are in my prayers dear sir. ✝️

Hello Nadine. I'm afraid I just saw this or I would have responded sooner. Thank you for taking the time to respond and thank you you for your prayers. I need prayer so very much in this day and hour. I will also be praying for you. As to your comments, I couldn't disagree more. Perhaps this might help. I haven't added works to salvation. Only God can save. Here is what I AM saying. Faith without works is dead. James 2. Without works, action less faith is dead.
@pastorurshan
@pastorurshan 2 года назад
Think of these verses: James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethre, though a man say he hath faith, and HAVE NOT WORKS? CAN FAITH SAVE HIM? (emphasis added) James 2:21 Was not Abraham our father JUSTIFIED BY WORKS? (emphasis added) Here's the point, belief must have works if it is to be classified as "faith". To God, action less belief is dead. Did you know that Martin Luther tried to remove James from the Bible due to this chapter? Think of the audacity! I submit that is what all "grace alone through faith alone" proponents are doing even now.
@pastorurshan
@pastorurshan 2 года назад
Lastly, you made an interesting comment "The gospel is the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, it is not Acts2:38." I humbly submit that Acts 2:38 IS the death, burial and resurrection. It is the enactment of it. We die when we repent. We are buried when we are baptized with Christ (Romans 6:4) and we are resurrected when we receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Romans 6:4-5; 8:11). So...I am not limited to a narrow book of Acts perspective, one cannot understand Romans until they have received the book of Acts experience. Many scholars believe Romans was written almost 30 years after Jesus resurrection. Acts is the hub that holds the entirety of the New Testament together. To better explain this, I will address on a Biblos episode to help you better understand it. I will likewise be praying for you. Thank you for your feedback. It is a great help to us.

Baptism in the name of Jesus is the fulfillment of Matt 28:19. Baptism isn't a work but a commandment. There is no trinity. God the Father became his own Son.

13:08 "Not in arbitrary language" ??? Acts 2 8 And how is it that we hear, each in our own [c]language in which we were born? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and [d]Arabs-we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” Please break this down. They heard them speak in their own tongues... Galileans speaking all these languages?
@nancyn7851

On the day of Pentecost when the Jewish people received the Holy Ghost, those outside heard them speaking in their own language (the languages mentioned in scripture). Speaking in tongues can be of the language of men or angels (1Cor 13:1). When they received the Holy Ghost, they spoke in a tongue foreign to them but recognized by those outside. It’s God’s spirit being poured out and them glorifying God. (We can have that same experience today bc it’s promised to us, too!!!)
@adamr6301
@adamr6301 3 года назад
@@nancyn7851 Please tell me you have had that experience, of speaking in another human language. I have spoken in tongues, but it has never been in another language. I don't doubt God's Spirit, but unlike many in Pentecost - I don't believe it is the (initial) or prevailing evidence. Don't get me wrong, I've been Apostolic (veil wearing women in our congregations) since about age 9. But, I know countless Christians, including my cousin who have never spoken in tongues, yet God has changed their lives inside out (He is a Bible Scholar today, having previously only been a drug and alcohol addict with an 8th grade education). In acts, only 3/7 times the event of speaking in tongues (other languages) is mentioned and outside of 1 Corinthians, the NT makes no other mention of this evidence. I was hoping the uploader would elaborate on it.

What I find absolutely amazing is that Mormons dont speak in tongues, buddhists dont, muslims dont, Jehovas witness dont speak in tongues,’ many Catholics’ speak in tongues and a multitude of other religions. ,many jewish dont as well.... its because they’ve never received it, And highly likely they never teach it in church. Yet in a apostolic pentecostal church / setting people receive it and in altar calls people receive it; is that a coincidence. In regular Bible study people receive it. At baptisms many receive it... Im not saying “no catholic , or no mormon but it is extremely uncommon. Makes one think. I am indebted to God for having come out of the baptismal waters speaking in tongues.

@@Clicked_SnoopyFr Mormons do speak in tongues, and so do many trinitarian Christians. There are even manifestations of the “spirit” in this fashion. Research the Kundalini spirit. Even Bethel church speaks in tongues, and idk about you but I would seriously doubt the claim that this is the “evidence” of the spirit, when it only happened 50% of the time in Acts, lookup Myron Wideman and his recent post on speaking in tongues. It is not the sure-fire way to know you are saved.

@@arc-michaelr9580 Hi Brother, I think you have great questions and would recommend you talk with a UPCI pastor. As a former Buddhist, I find the UPCI has very solid Bible based teaching on salvation through death (repentance), burial (baptism), and resurrection (in-filling of Holy Ghost evidenced by speaking in tongues as described in the Book of Acts and on).
