THE ROOF HAS ITS GRIPS AND RIDGE FRIEZES! [VLOG S1EP71] 

Hello everybody,
in this episode I install the ridge with small decorations (zinc frieze) at the foot of the ridge tiles. I then install the two ears of corn as well as the terracotta friezes which come from the old roof of the property.

---------- Who am I and what project can you help with?
I am Ludovic, the main and only actor of my modest renovation videos!
Well, when I talk about acting.... Don't expect a big show, because I've never done theater or anything, I'm just a tree pruner during the week and a handyman at the weekend, which isn't therefore has nothing to do, but the main thing is not...!
To go into more detail about myself, I celebrated my 33rd birthday at the end of January 2023 and share my life with my wife Valérie, who does not wish to be particularly visible at the moment on RU-vid, this which I completely respect and understand. Our place of residence for the week is in the Drôme, not far from the city of Valence, but in the countryside!
On the other hand, the weekend is not the same story! We both leave 3 hours from our home on our renovation project in Haute-Loire at a little over 900m altitude.
In 2020, we purchased an old farmhouse made up of several buildings including a main house, a barn and a small house.
This is located on the mountainside, with terraces to form flat areas.
The work is extensive, many things to redo, whether it be the walls of the buildings, the roofs, the walls of the terraces of the land and so on....
The basis is there, but no more.
However, I see great potential to make it something exceptional, the house of my dreams in short.
The day this becomes possible, we therefore wish to leave our dear Drôme to live completely in Haute-Loire and provide hospitality with, for example, a gîte in the mini-castle, and many other ideas, this is not not what's missing, you can trust me! But before that there remains a lot, a lot of work!
But with all my tenacity and energy, as I think we can certainly see in my videos, I want to discover all the trades, and even if I have explored some of them in completely amateur ways before, I have not no training or professional experience in the construction field, but what a pleasure to rack your brains to try to understand everything correctly.
So I invite you all to follow me in this fantastic project, which I think is in a spirit and style that is not very common on the internet!

Big question, simply all this work, but especially the shooting on site, the editing takes a lot of time...
The equipment in which I invested to try to share better quality videos, as well as self-training (as for the rest 😁) in the field of video editing...
All this means that if any kind contributors want to help me in this slightly crazy (or crazy?!) project, know that I would be infinitely grateful, and wishing to share the work for the long years to come, it I have to hold on for the long term 😌
---------- What are the rewards?
Numerous series of videos on the work to be discovered over many years, all this on (the) scale of (a) human, made by a Sunday handyman but who puts his whole heart into it!
Sure, I know it's not much, but if it could at least inspire one of you, that would be a big win for me.
