When they were UC as Dim and Juicy, you could also call the hotel room their ‘shop’ when he initiated talking about their UC kisses. “Do you wanna talk about it? Your apartment, the airplane, it just doesn’t seem like pretend!”
It is sooooooo cute that Tim always protects her. It is really nice from Tim trying to help her figuring out her feelings, even if it could mean that his own heart breaks. He is not forcing her to do something stupid. Ya know what I trying to say!? Oh gosh I am looking forward to the next piece you'll give us here. 😍 Waiting till next spring to finally see everything in my country is like hell 🙈
@@rachelbh7273 Chris bet it deft because Lucy said let's talk at the night but he gave Lucy panic attack of buying a house , Lucy should be clear on her job not house with Chris.. Happy Tim help her stay calming..
Lucy, if you have to think so long about the answer, you simply don't. Now we're talking. Finally Tim is asking the right questions - like Lucy did with him before. Thanks for posting this.
Guys, look at Tim! He is like casualy asking her about her boyfriend but his voice is so unsure. Look at his face when she says how great Chris is. ❤️I love how Tim let her figure her feelings out by herself. He is not pushing, he is not telling her what she should do. One more thing, Is that me or there feels like there is a HUGE hole between that scene and the scene from the end of the episode when Lucy says "If we do this and It's not gonna work I will have ruined the most important thing in my life" It is like at least one conversation od missing where they adress their feelings to each other.
Well I personnally yhink that it shows how they are both aware of their feelings for each other and how they are mutual. It surprised me, yes, mostly that Tim took the first step. But there isn't anything that's missing for me.
It's not just you. I thought i was the only one who feels that way. There's probably a deleted scene or two between both scenes. Either it was edited out because (I'm guessing) they felt it didn't add anything to the episode (i beg to differ) or they are saving it because it reveals too much about the direction they want #chenford to go in the future. Whatever the reason, they need to find a way to let us know what happened between the scenes
Over analyzing the hell out of this because why not, but the way he stares at her so long before saying, “he loves you”, makes it seem like it’s a double entendre. He’s not *only* talking about Chris, but… himself. I just love how subtle, but loud all of their words and actions are towards each other. They can feel those feelings without having to say anything. He knows she wants to be with him, she knows he wants to be with her… there’s no denying it anymore. UGH, CAN JANUARY 3RD HURRY UPPPPP
In my opinion, the final scene of episode 8 was a perfect example of “what is understood does not need to be said”. My take on this is that the “hole” you are referring to is actually filled with bits and pieces from the previous episodes - S5,Ep. 1-4. What I mean by that is when Lucy asked Tim if he wanted to come in her apartment after the undercover assignment and Tim agreed, THAT was their acknowledgement of feelings without directly saying it. Of course Chris bleeding out on the couch interrupted what could have been a hook up followed by a more direct conversation about their feelings but nonetheless the acknowledgement was still there. Following that in episode 2 when Tim talks to Lucy about going to UC school, of course he was looking out for her career and wants what is best for her, but the wording he used wasn’t the best choice of words. I think he could have articulated himself a little bit better but he was also scared to fully confront his feelings. When Lucy said “but we were about to” and Tim replied with “but we didn’t, we didn’t”, I think Tim was trying to say we didn’t hook up and it’s not your fault Rosalind hurt Chris so there is nothing for you to feel guilty about. It’s time for you to “move on” with your next career move. You’ve worked hard for this and you deserve it. It’s a great opportunity. But of course because Tim didn’t articulate himself very well, Lucy took it as Tim wanting her to move on and keep it professional between them. And that is why she had said “some time away would be good” because that is what she thought he meant. AND that is also why in the final scene of episode 8, Lucy says “we should just continue how we have been (keeping it professional), it’s not worth the risk”. THIS is also why episodes 3 and 4 have very little Chenford scenes. Only them intensely looking at each other because they obviously care but are trying extra hard to deny and keep it professional. It’s not until episode 5 and 6 that we saw them get back to their regular selves and talk to each other and banter like they use to. Them not riding together for some time made it easy for them to pretend and act professional around one another but when they were forced to ride together again, it made it harder to pretend and that is why they were hesitant when Grey told them they would be riding together. Especially after Ashley broke up with Tim, you could see the hurt and even jealousy in Tim whenever he would see Lucy and Chris together. So during the car conversations, as much as Tim was giving good advice and asking all the right questions so that Lucy can process her feelings about Chris and do what is right for her and what would make her happy, I think Tim was also trying to get those answers for himself. Deep down, he wants her to break up with Chris but not because of him. He wants it to be her decision. ALLLLLLL this to say that when Lucy said “if we do this and it doesn’t work out, I would have ruined the most important relationship in my life”, Tim realized in that moment that she is acknowledging that HE is the one that is worth the effort to her. And that in turn gave him the confidence to want to go all in and “risk it all” and ask her out. Sorry for the long comment but I too was trying to make sense of that scene and this is what I came up with and how I interpreted it. I hope it makes sense and gives you a different perspective to think about.
@@elviemaignan1027 oh this totally makes sense. To me one of the best parts of being a fan of the show is being part of the #chenford fandom. It rocks!!!
*Tim* Are you and Chris moving in together? *Lucy* Nooo. *Tim* I mean, he seems to think you are? *Lucy* Yeah, I mean, I don't know. He kind of sprang it on me this morning. *Tim* You guys are happy, right? *Lucy* Yeah. *Tim* Those are the obvious next steps. *Lucy* You know, we're super-happy. It's good. 0:20 *Chris calls Lucy* A realtor friend of mine just slipped me a listing, it hasn't been posted online yet. So if you like it, I think we should move on it. *Lucy* Wow. Um, okay. *Tim pretends to be annoyed* Chen, chat with your boyfriend on your own time. *Chris* He's in a mood, I'll let you go. Just text me and let me know what you think. *Lucy* Yeah, I'll do that. [They finish the call] *Lucy to Tim* Thanks. 0:44........ *Tim* Do you love him?........ *Lucy* I mean, we haven't even been dating that long, it's not... 0:59........ *Tim* He loves you. *Lucy* I know. I know and I feel like I should love him back. He's so great in so many different ways. It's just... He's just not... [you, Lucy wants to say]
This is obviously adorable, but after watching this scene for the millionth time, you know what annoys me? So Chris knows that Lucy and the others just witnessed a lady getting blown up right in front of them and have to worry about a bomber, and this dude decides to continue bombarding Lucy with the house crap, and then says “he’s in a mood!” when Tim comes to her rescue to get her off the phone… like bro, they’re literally in the middle of a high stress situation, why are you talking about houses?
One of the main reasons I didn't like Chris is because he's too pushy. Like seriously lucy told you she is dealing with a bad guy that is killing innocent people with bombs and Chris just goes straight to the house stuff. Like dude, read the room and see her facial expressions! She's dealing with alot and when Lucy is at work last thing she needs is more heavy stuff. She even mentioned that she will talk with you tonight about the house stuff but he keeps pushing like at second 0.35 in this video. That part bugs the crop out of me of his pushyness. IM ALL IN FOR CHENFORD and I am glad Chris is gone.
Yes he did say he’s in a mood. Chris doesn’t realise that he said that so it would get him off the phone. Once again Tim comes to Lucy Rescue bless him
Tim faked the "mood" to save her from something she was not wanting to talk about yet....chris sprung the house shopping thing on her THAT morning basically lucy said she wanted her shift to think on it but he kept pushing it on her....oh I went by an open house on my way to work lemme show you even tho you said you wanted to wait, oh now I'm on lunch so I wanna show you a new listing....meanwhile she's in the car getting more frustrated about him sending HER more houses...(literally so many) tim rescued her from having to deal with it....besides house hunting SHOULD be done when she's not working not when they trying to to STOP ESSENTIALLY A terrorist
Lucy might not actually Say You but Lucy say You with her Eyes instead. When she said He’s Just Not the You part is with the Eyes so Technically she does say YOU
Thank you for all your Chenford videos. My favorite is Lucy saying 'he's grerat in so many ways, bu he's just not...' ...well YOU!!!! I like how Tim usually hates 'talking', but he's the one doing all the talking. And all in all I thought originally that I had missed watching an episode because they jumped from being awkward after posing as Dim and Juicy to having the talk outside the station about 'is it worth it.' Is it me or did that just take off fast after waiting for 5 seasons for chenford?
No i think theyve had moments like when they locked eyes when he went down on bailey episode in water. Then again at hospital. Almost all this season little pieces i think they did good
I agree with you. In the station scene, when Lucy said she would ruin the most important relationship of her life, I thought she was talking about Chris and her. Tim's reaction didn't help me understand that neither, he seemed confused
@@kisim7088 yes, but they moved from exchanging eye contacts to talking about them having feelings like if they talked about it before.... that's where the confusion is coming from I think
I really love these scenes ❤. Chenford❤❤❤. But: they are driving in a car and Tim is looking at Lucy many seconds. That is dangerous! He caused an accident in a further season because of looking at Lucy. I would wish a tiny bit more realism during the car scenes.
