That makes an eerie amount of sense. And in the vampire lore of Eastern Europe, which Wiseau possibly heard growing up, the sun wouldn't destroy a vampire, but merely hinder and irritate them which explains Johnny moving about during the day. Johnny is definitely a vampire, and the Jury is out on Tommy himself.

Wait? Could HE be a vampire? EVIDENCE: 1. The money, money it’s just something you accumulate over time specially when you don’t actually need food to live, all you will need is a house and electricity. 2. The accent, accents all around the world have evolve so much they probably sound nothing like they do now and we have no recording of them. 3. Not wanting to reveal where he is from, probably a country that doesn’t exist anymore. 4. Mannerisms, culture has change so much that maybe the was he speaks and move was just normal at his time. 5. Complete lack of human empathy. 6. Complete lack of knowledge in current technology, sure he knows what they are and they purpose but technology has evolve so much so rapidly that he can’t possibly keep up. 7. No known family connections, all his family was human and passed away. 8. *He doesn’t tell his age* , he literally doesn’t know when he stopped aging and doesn’t fully understand normal human aging, that’s why he can’t even tell a convincing lie (19? Come on)

Bruh, I'm freaking out. All this time the movie was a funny disaster, but just could be an act of genius! It takes experience to make comedy gold and this man knows it to a science. He has lived for ages and has learned the quirks and knowledge of man in order to make a film. A film so incredibly bad that, like an old meter, the number of cringe sent it back to 0 making entertaining to watch. We think very little of him, but in reality, he is far superior.

I agree. If you break it down, The Room is about Lisa being a horrible person, cheating on her fiancé and lying all the time. It's not that far fetched to interpret that Tommy Wiseau wrote it as a coping method after his ex girlfirend cheated on him. It would explain why Johnny is portrayed as a great person and Lisa as straight up evil.

My theory: "Tommy Wiseu" is just an alias. He's just a bored millionaire who wanted to make a movie for the sake of it, but was unsure of himself so made this fake identity and purposefully keeps it vague (and maybe acts stupid) so nobody figures out he's really a big millionaire. Maybe it's a joke, maybe he's serious.

Honestly he seems involved in illegal crime. Maybe has a few businesses in Poland. I'd love to know if anyone recognizes him. Honestly it was kind of worrying to have Wissue be so nonchalant about shooting a bunch of fucking bullets in the air with a real gun. For two reasons (although the likelihood is slim) you could hit someone with a stray bullet (unless you've had experience with guns you'd realize it doesn't matter but to a novice it does.) He acts like the gun is just not a worry. Second he has a "I'm the boss do as I say." Mentality. Esspecially about the gun thing, like he literally didn't care at all about the other people at all. Couple that with the countless cases of him being extremely inept (people in organized crime don't have to be smart they just inherit their illegal oppertunities they get from a family and previous boss.) Because a businessman would've had a sense of where the market is heading so would've made a halfway decent movie. But Wissue seems to have zero idea about how to make a movie.

my theory on Tommy. He won the Polish lottery once upon a time. He wanted to create a new life so he changed his name and broke all ties with everyone he knew and came to the US to make The Room.

At the time there were not big enough lottery prizes in europe to fund a 6M dollar movie , Euromillions only started in 2004 and Eurojackpot only started in 2012 , the biggest prize in Polish Lottery is less than 1.5 Dollars or zł57.8 million , if he is from another country other than Poland , the biggest prize in lottery other than Euromillions or Eurojackpot was 4.1M Euros(Germany) , more or less 4.2M Dollars. He's conected to organized crime or he got a Multi millionair because of someone that died and left him all . He is dumb so he isnt a legit businessman that's almost for sure , and the amount of money that he got has to be "easy money".

I went to a midnight screening with my mom and best friend. Mind you we were 16 at the time and the youngest members of the audience. It was an onslaught of spoons and was really fun. The sex scenes were a tad awkward with my mom sitting right to my left.

Am I the only one who loves the idea that maybe...Just maybe Tommy is a vampire that's been around for like thousands of years and that this movie is like his magnum opus and a collection of all his vast knowledge that he's accumulated over the years... BUT because were all just lowly mortals with only basic understanding of everything compared to him there's just no way for us to understand or come close to comprehending any form of actual meaning from the movie. I don't know maybe it's just me but I love the idea of this movie possibly being just filled to the brim with all kinds of meaningful deep answers to like life or something but in order to understand it all you have to be a vampire or some immortal creature. P.S.- If Tommy was a vampire that would explain why he has a bottomless bank account AND why no one knows jackshit about the guy... Maybe he's trying tell us something... Maybe tommy is vampire.

You know, I think The Room taps into something pretty brilliant. We tend to think our own lives and personal drama are deeply moving, we think our conversations are interesting and deep... But a lot of it would look absurd to an outsider. That makes The Room actually feel uncomfortably realistic in some ways.

Being at a screening of The Room at a film festival, watching the movie for the first time ever, that must have been my favourite film experience of all time. I never looked enough into The Room to hear about this vampire flying car, but I 100% can easily buy into Johnny being a vampire. One thing to recall is Johnny works at a bank. What if it’s not a normal bank, but a blood bank? That’d be the perfect job for a vampire!

I bought the room on blu ray a few years back off his official website and it came with some strange freebies. I received a hand signed head shot of Tommy that reads "Thank you Anthony, love Tommy" also he provided a pair of what seemed to be his new underwear line, some bright red boxers with his entire name across the waistband.

you know this really begs the question how would a vampire car work? would blood be like gasoline to a regular car? would it break down in the sunlight? would it require maintainence or other resources? what is the fuel (blood) efficiency? would it be sentient? could you even drive it?
