Simple Saturday Styles Episode #14 The Rope Braid
You'll need: your favorite brush, a fine tooth comb, some detangler and an elastic
Begin with a ponytail. Using the fine tooth comb, split the ponytail into two. Now you can grab sections of hair and follow these two steps.
1. Twist the left section to the right
2. Toss it under to the right
Remember to hold the twist in place when you switch it over. Follow this to the end and install the little elastic :)
This is some of our old footage because I accidentally deleted our video we recorded yesterday. It's a lot of work to create content and there are a lot of things to consider when creating tutorials like this. I've been wondering if it's worth it, there are so many channels that produce content and they seem to have their channels together. I created this channel to help dads learn hair and encourage them, but 90% of the interaction comes from woman. It is what it is. I believe hairstyling is a great way to bond with your daughter, but that's not going to happen if you are forcing your daughter to do hairstyles she doesn't want to do. So all of you that ask me "My daughter never wants her hair done, what do I do?"... The answer is simple. Find another way to connect with your daughter. Our motto is "It's not about the braid, it's about the bond" and I feel strongly about this. Rock a plain ponytail as long as your daughter is happy.
