I'm a sucker for woven bags and shoes (looks over at a Cole Haan woven bag I just used today). Apparently woven was first used to create a higher quality bag from lower quality strips of leather, but the aesthetic has evolved to hold its own. The Margaux bag is very lovely.
Stunning! I love the woven matte texture. I picked up the 12 Margaux in Muschio for $5K and now it’s listed on FWRD for $10,800! I’m happy w my 12, 15 and 17 in all my first choice colors: muschio, cyprus and taupe. Yes, I am done 😅
Red is definitely your color. Beautiful! The woven is pretty, but I would still prefer the pebbled leather. Wish I could afford it, but on my retirement income, not going to be possible. I still enjoy just seeing them.
Well said. The woven is too Bottega. Good point. I love the saddle and the suede leather choices. But the shape is elegant. I gave a brown suede to my daughter. She loves it. You are so pretty in red!
I still love my LV reverse monogram mamacoo clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
I've not seen the woven before. I love it! Even tho it's woven there still is no doubt its a Margaux. I have a trio - the 10 in Dk Taupe, the 12 in smooth Cuir, and the 15 in Black pebbled leather. The 12 & 15 are my faves. No EW yet, I'm tempted, but not enough to pull trigger bc of the cost and there really isn't a color I want. On another note, red is one of my favorite colors, it's stunning on u❣️❣️❣️
Thank you! You have a nice collection. I think the EW is worth a look but only when the right colour comes up. Problem is they don’t come up often and they’re gone in a flash. No time to think and I need to turn it over a bit in my head first. Always. Esp at these prices!

I can't wait to get another 15- Im hoping for gold hardware in smooth leather for Xmas- haven't decided on color yet. What would you love to see in a Margaux? What are your thoughts on the suede? I have a suede Proenza Schouler PS1 medium satchel still flawless but I dont know if I can commit to a suede Margaux

Besides the Hugo Slides that have been released, do you actually know or have some information if ultimately the “Vasko Slides” (The Row Birks) are going to be released at some point?… or maybe they have been discarded?
