In his right, Oblivion. In his left, Oathkeeper. Pain, hatred, rage in Oblivion and Hope, happiness, dream in Oathkeeper. For Roxas, he wielded both not as his weapon only, but as a remembrance and proof that he and his friends are exist and not just a nobodies.
In his right, Oblivion, a proof of the memories of his friends, in his left, Oathkeeper, an embodiment of the promises he made to the ones he loves. Light and darkness... He walks the path between. Symbolically speaking there is so much to unpack, and that's part of the reason why I love Roxas so much as a character beyond just his relatability.
The theme of the most tragic character in Kingdom Hearts. Right next to Riku. Edit: Seeing Roxas in KH3 and being able to PLAY as him again was so emotional for me! I love you Roxas!
KH: RECODED, inside the Dataspace: Data-Roxas: "My role was to see if you were ready to take ownership of the hurt inside you. Now that role is done. Nothing left for me to do but...go away." Data-Sora: "Are you gonna go home?" Data-Roxas: "I don't know if I really have one. But there's a place I'd like to be" Me: 😩😩😫😫😭😭
@@sunnicorran9244 the DDD scene is even worse 😭 I don't even know how or why I memorized most of that dialogue 😭 Here is the last part of it... Roxas: "There are so many hearts connected to yours. You're me, so you felt what I felt." Sora: "No, Roxas. You're you. We're not the same. I wanted to tell you that. That you deserve just as much as I do to be your own person."
Imo if your gonna introduce someone to kingdom hearts. Have them start with 2 because you start the game with roxas and by the time you start the game with sora it’s like you have a connection with roxas and bam it gets taken away and your like who’s this kid sora what makes him so special? That’s what I felt when kh2 was my introduction to the series and I loved it since.
