The Royal hospital Demolition update, Liverpool 26th June 2024 

That place saved my life. Was in the new A&E the other week. What have they done?! Tiny, 3 toilets, boiling hot. Bring back the old Royal.

One of my abiding memories of this hospital is seeing the late Bernard Hill as Yozzer Hughes pushing George Malone (Peter Kerrigan RIP) in Boys from the Blackstuff, in a wheelbarrow right up to the main entrance.... funny how things stay with you for a lifetime.. 😊 Simon D

I hated that hospital it was a place where people went in and 90% never came out to tell the tale. Not a nice place glad to see the back of it.
