When you hear about how the whole bible fits together it is so mind-blowing. I genuinely don't think anyone could have made it up. There are so many little pieces that fit together so perfect

I love this video! In the Western Church, the gospel message has been whittled down to focus on salvation more than vocation. Most Christians today see Jesus’ sacrifice as a means to have eternal life. But that is only a secondary “bonus” effect of Jesus’ sacrifice, not the main effect. The MAIN work of Jesus’ sacrifice was to enable us to BE the true humans we were meant to be: the Royal priesthood God had planned for us in the very beginning of creation. THAT is the good news! Yes, we have eternal salvation with God, but more importantly, we are now able to BE God’s light and love on earth without being held down by sin. THAT is the good news of the gospel that is too often forgotten and overlooked in The Church today. Amen! I can’t wait to delve more into this and take this calling seriously as a follower of The King.

Watched this 3 times already. So much in the bible about this this. Lord help me to live as your priest in the power of Christ.

I have learned SO much from Bible Project since discovering their videos a few years ago through their Youversion Bible reading plans. These theme videos have helped me see how the Old Testament pointed to Jesus. When I was young, I used to think the OT was just not really relevant to Christianity, and that as a believer I really only needed to read the New Testament -- how wrong I was! The foreshadowing of Christ throughout - from Genesis to the psalms and prophets has just opened my understanding so much! I know Him better and see how to follow Him! I am a priest in my home, and Jesus is our High Priest! Amazing, Beautiful, Life-Transforming. Thank you! ❤

We cannot underestimate that we NEED His HOLY SPIRIT to move with the manner and fruits that can only come from God almighty the blessed one. If we try to do it with our own flesh, we will always fail. Seek His Holy Spirit, ask and believe. Seek the one, Jesus Christ, believe. Great video by the way.

This video reminds me of the Catholic teaching of the common priesthood of the laity in conjunction with the clerical priesthood of ordained priests. When I bless my children with holy water, I perform a priestly action for example.
