We are about to embark on 19 kilometers of fatiguing, non stop rock crawling action, through some of the most stunning off road trails the United States has to offer. This is the trail that Jeep borrowed the name from to use on their most capable edition of the Wrangler and Gladiators. I am going to walk you through the famous Rubicon trail from start to finish as my friends and I spend the next 3 days experiencing everything this legendary bucket list offroad adventure has to offer. Today we begin our conquest at 6000ft, as we enter the western side gatekeeper that is located along the north edge of Loon lake, situated around 140km east of Sacramento, California in the sierra nevada mountains.
