Definitely one of my favorite films growing up, although Rugrats in Paris is the best of the trilogy! If you’re looking for more underrated family films I’ve got to recommend The Amazing Panda Adventure, Baby’s Day Out, Alaska (1996), Monkey Trouble, Dustin Checks In, and Cutthroat Island.
Did not expect to see you react to this movie, but I'm here for it!! I admittedly didn't grow up much with the Rugrats, but this movie is pretty fun if you don't take it too seriously. I also like how they take adult subject matter and show it from a kid's imaginative point of view (i.e., the water birth being a woman giving birth in an aquarium). One of the main things that keeps me from wanting to watch more Rugrats is Angelica, or as I like to call her Satanica! She has a few funny moments and moments where she's a mood, but the majority of her character is being spoiled, loud, and manipulative!! I can't stand it, but I'm at least glad you can, Jessie! 😅
