there is 3 things i love reefing, graphic design, and photography all three things i love to put together the rule of thirds is my favorite way to aquascape the hardest tank i’ve done by fare was rule of lines i put rocks that were straight and i connected them to the two ends of the tankand i put 5 rows the hardest part was getting the lightning and flow throughout the tank it looks way better than it sounds trust me 😂
Thanks for your comments. I used these cups as a baseline so all of you followers would get an idea of what I'm explaining on this video and how to get an idea of the intersecting lines and what you see at those focal points. Eddie
I'm curious to know what kind of lighting you might think about using. Im planning my nuvo 40 build and I just can't decide on what I want to light it with
Hi Zakk and thanks for considering my comments on this topic. When it comes to lighting the main question to answer is; what type of corals do i plan to keep? Also, to keep in mind is $ and what you are planning to spend on lights. I presently have the Maxspect razor nano on my 9 gal reef and it's more than enough for that tank and the animals I presently keep What I'm planning to get for the IM 40 is the Radian G4 nano with only one pod in which is up there in price. Eddie
Hi ReefSpy and thanks for your comments. I simply used the red cups so all of you would get an idea what I was trying to explain and how to benefit from The Rule of Thirds. Eddie
Hi Trong, first thanks for communicating. When it comes to the IM40 I really don't have a set date to get around to it. Presently I'm using it for video purposes. Eddie
Hi George, the Rule of Thirds is mainly used by professional photographers and what it does is that by placing your main object or point of interest at or close to the intersection where the lines meet it is known to be more pleasing to the human eye. So as to say the lower level from side to side would be used as your foreground, the next middle area would be used as your middle or mid-ground, and finally the upper section would be used as your background, but always trying to place your main object or point of interest at or close to the intersections of each level. Hope I didn't confuse you. Eddie
