Thank you for this information. If the DB board is in my kitchen on the wall and I have shower water pipes in the other room on the same wall, how far must the water pipes be from the DB board.

When connecting an alternative supply (UPS, inverter etc.) to the DB board, are there any other regulations specific to the alternative supply itself covering equipment, placement, connectors, switches or anything else related outside the DB Board that are not contained in SANS 10142-1?

Hi there Can you have two neutral wires connected to a single lug on the neutral bus bar?

Are you allowed to use FTE cable to wire light switches and wall plugs and connect to the DB board? And should the FTE cable also be in PVC conduits?

Where in the SANS book does it mention cable sizes for lights, plug sockets etc
