The Rumbling was a created by the King of The Walls, as a deterrent for the foreseeable destruction of the Eldian race. King Fritz however, did not expect for The Rumbling to ever be activated and created to vow to renounce war. With the vow in tact, the power of the Founding Titan could not be utilized to its full destructive potential. Until our current story with Eren Yeager..
This sequence starts with The Rumbling arriving to the shores of Marley, then burning down Liberio showing the infamous scene with Halil and Ramzi, Odiha with the death of Hange Zoe and finally stopping in Fort Salta where The Battle of Heaven and Earth will begin. By the time the smoke clears on the final battle field Eren kills 80% of humanity..

I was just depressed after watching this. I felt sorry for everyone, for the Eldians in the Walls, for Eren himself to have completely lost his humanity so thoroughly and to think he had no choice, for all the people outside of the Walls. It's sad to see characters you care about turn to evil and innocent people getting trampled due to history's pain. That said, the Rumbling was metal AF.

I really do wonder what Eren's titan would have looked like if his body was intact when he transformed. We know he'd be absolutely massive considering that his legs alone are 3 of the wall titans stacked on top of each other. It's about 180 meters for the legs if we say that the wall titan's feet were buried 10 meters in the ground and they actually are 60 meters, so his titan could be 250-300 meters at the very least. Just brainstorming. I'd like to hear other peoples theories too.

Because everyone thinks between the 'right' and 'wrong' in their own perspectives, innocence is the product of what they claim is 'right' to their perspective not knowing for a fact that when there is life there is conflict but there is indeed hope There are those who supports the rumbling and there are those who do not because its mass genocide but have one of the people asked? "What is the reason why we see it as right or wrong? Is it because they only just want to survive or perhaps something else? Do our perspectives align? Then what for? Just to prove the 'innocence' of the other? What consequences do we encounter in the future because of our actions? Are we wise enough to know our own mistakes or to know the other's mistakes?" 'Right' and 'heroic' for marleyans to destroy the wall while the others perspective is the opposite making everyone realize that in war and in conflict no one is 'right' or 'wrong' thus making the rumbling start even still when innocent civilians live, soon they will be blinded by another 'right' or 'wrong' situation The problem itself started when somebody is 'right' by their personal truth made by belief then spread the lies to others. This endless conflict cycle will never end because thats the basis of creation which is chaos, all life will eventually find a way to kill eachother just as nature always has planned to balance itself.

It's really intelligent to show the power of the main character just in 10 minutes. The way the rumbling destroys everything inevitably just make me (just a normal audience) goosebumps, not to talk about the real person who suffered from this scene. That Eren actually knows how to carve the panic into the people out of the walls, that they will never do the bad things to Eren's race anymore.

Eren’s voice of sadness in this is so heartbreaking, while he’s been portrayed as this cold stoic heartless guy through the last couple seasons it just shows he realises what this is going to do and how horrible he feels. I think the one thing about the portrayal of the Rumbling that bugs me is the aftermath. Even in populated areas like cities, it’s just dirt with footprints afterward. The ground should be covered in rubble for miles in every direction. The most obvious instance of this would be 6:38, where you actually see the before/after of a specific location. Part of a door remains untouched, but aside from that there’s no evidence of the rest of the wall or gate that was there. You can’t even say that the titans crushed it beyond recognition because the dirt isn’t even the same color the wall was.

Just imagine the last thing you see before you die, is Ymir. Watching you die for what you did to her, her people, and everything inbetween, as well as your own sins. No emotion, no satisfaction on her face, simply watching you get crushed beneath the marching titans feet. Its also touching to think Eren, or maybe Ymir herself, made it so they would never touch Hangi's body. As we see her laying there in the footprint. Meaning the one thing that can survive human hate, is sacrifice. Both in memory, and physically. While those 2 greedy kids ended up getting reduced to bloody smears on the ground.
