You could spend 10,000 years in paths, and it would only be like 3 seconds in real time. Remember what Eren and Zeke did in paths was a approximately a microsecond considering that events played out nearly immediately after Eren took control of the founding titan. Also consider that Ymir builds each an every titan that is transformed in the real world, it really speaks to how long she has been in paths and it must have actually felt like an infinity for her as Eren pointed out.

I really like how everyone at the begening thought it was just random explosions and stuff to not make any spoiler in the opening when in reality it had bunch of hiden meanings in it

People will smile at this episode and be entertained. But for some, hearing their screams, no music, looking at the fears and realizing that these people, even if they are children, got trampled because of a decision for genocide is scary. Not in the spooky halloween way, but scary as in terms that this thing happened less than hundred years ago. Imagine all those people who died suffering under Nazi Germany, from again a simple decision of genocide.

Yeah I knew about it from spoilers (and even if I didn't, I kind of figured that's where the story was heading a bit before I got the spoiler), but NOTHING could have prepared me for reading the actual chapter. I played Vogel im Käfig on loop in the background, tears running down my face, and I don't think I've ever felt this level of simultaneous sick-to-my-stomach dread and sadness while reading or watching anything in fiction before, or at least not as far as I can remember right now. These animations/colored, voiced and scored panels get me even more, and when the anime gets to this point, I already know it will absolutely break me. I'm pretty sure this is one of the moments that will sear itself into the collective anime and even wider media consciousness, and will be talked about years, or even decades to come.

They have only 16 episodes planned. Episode 14 is already ending up with Shadis getting beat up. Episode 15 is probably going to be Zeke backstory with Levi getting blown up and then getting rescued by Hanji as Zeke gets rebuilt and reborn by Ymir's help. Episode 16 will likely have just some of the fight scenes from where Marley attacks Shinganshina. WHICH MEANS THERE WILL BE NO RUMBLING in the anime. Really sad that they aren't even ending the anime properly.

As long as humans see other humans as enemies, there will always be an enemy to fight. As long as children are indoctrinated to hate and fear groups people, and as long as people use their personal pain and suffering as an excuse to force others (including innocents) to suffer as well, nobody will ever truly be free.

Well, even as evil as Eren is, he still have some humanity in him. He is still able to feel regret. He is not truly evil and still is a human. AoT shows how good and evil are just a matter of perspective. Someone killing eren's mother seems very evil to you, but when you learn reiner's point of view, you know why it had to be done. Reiner would become a "good person" in marley if he succeeded his mission which requires him to be "evil person" in paradis. That also applies to IRL situations. Don't think that all deeds have different values of good and evil, because it is probably all the same. What you may think you are doing is good can actualy cause misfortune to someone else in this world. When eren learns that beyond the walls are humans and their unethical practices, it is only logical that he became so disappointed. Him wanting to end the world makes very much sense from his persepective. After all, one way to save the world is to make it gone altogether, along with all of the happiness and sadness. This really reminds me of Evangelion ending, which has the similiar conclusion of everyone becoming one single entity in the end, solving all sadness and happiness. "good" animes with the theme of humanity being on peril mostly ends with similiar conclusions: humanity are shit and should have been ended.

@@enterthekyuubi Why would they develop Nuclear bombs when for the past 200 years or so they’ve had access to the colossal titan which could do what a nuclear bomb does with no fallout to worry about. There’s no way in hell Marley had a nuclear weapons program. I highly doubt nukes would even be though of until the era after the titans curse was lifted.

​​@Nelsoonkun wasn't even about the brain . The music took over the scenes . And the rumbling had maybe 2 min total screentime ? And most of the best rumbling scenes were in the trailer .... HUGE disappointment. And the rumbling scenes were very quick . Ramzi had more screentime and a single camera shot of him getting beat up . If you read the Manga, the Manga captured more of the motions and raw terror of what is going on . Alot of scenes were cut from the Manga.

that part with mikasa was interesting because Mikasa shouldn't even be able to be sent memories from Eren with the founding titan nor attack titan. iirc the timeline is completely fixed which is why eren completely trusts his visions/memories. Also why is crying so much and apologized because he knows those kids will always die no matter what

@@AbuMangaSo Aot is not a story about a boy who seeking for freedom in the cruel world, its about Eren and Mikasa shoujo love story. That love don't even make sense for me, It's insane to me that Eren (romantically) loved Mikasa when he actively pushed her away from him multiple times in the story. He has only shown the annoying brotherly love to her, and has made no real efforts to romantically pursue her at all throughout the story. He has made no real efforts (to my knowledge) to talk to her like a normal person about her life, her motivations, her struggles. My biggest issue with the whole showing that Eren is still afterall a powerless 19 year old. After 131 it's more than obvious that Eren is not the coldhearted, pro-genocide chad that his more simple minded fans thought of him as, that he had gotten to accept his fate and just kept moving forward towards his goal... But there's such a huge disconnect between Eren's personality and behavior during WFP and how 139 recontextualizes Eren's entire personality that it just doesn't feel right whatsoever. Of course he can't be in Paths chad mode all the time but you also can't pull off everything Eren did by just playing pretend, there almost seemed to be no traces whatsoever of that Eren throughout the whole chapter. I can understand why he's acting so cringey and what Isayama is going for but damn, it just doesn't feel right. He literally kill Carla, to future don't change, to save his friend, to save paradis( at this i don't even know he care for paradis or not) that trash,disgusting, F tier human being for me. For a character to do a complete 180 on their most defining character trait, something huge had to happen. Even if we assume it did, just offscreening it for no apparent reason is stupid. It could have been a really impactful sequence as well, seeing him try to change his fate, but every time he does, something else goes wrong and the end result is even worse. It could have been a really powerful moment for him and made everything he does in 139 way more believable. But no, we just have to imagine that Eren went through a traumatic experience that changed the core of his being offscreen. I understand all the implications of his character and it is indeed very tragic, but it was so badly executed that it completely fell flat for me. This is just for Eren character, so many more character has been butchered likes Historia, Ymir, Mikasa don't have 1 develop in entire story,Armin Post-Time skip is a Uzumaki talk no jutsu nonsensen... and so many questions don't have the answers. The Chapter is so bad that when i reread every thing feel like a joke.
