Not many people in the world of music today could pull off what these 3 very talented musicians are doing. This is amazing and you 3 are a pleasure to watch and listen to.
This is a band that is truly worthy of playing RUSH. The closest to the real thing. Close your eyes, just listen and you could hardly tell the difference.
Once again frank. You are absolutely right about about this band. I have watched this video again several times. They need to be playing for a far more better crowd then this street festival. A huge outdoor amphitheater would be ideal for these guys am i right?
you oughtta hear the first few songs that the cover band Hemispheres Trio w Trish Lupi on bass/vocals/keys pulls off. It's early RUSH incarnate. Look for their '2nd Nicholson's gig' vid
This is most faithful rendition I have ever heard from a cover band of an extremely difficult Rush song, full stop. There cannot be a closer trio of musicians who have worked so hard to get every note, tone, and tiny nuance correct. All the instruments reflect what was used on the original track, the live mix is out of this world. Mr Lee, Mr Lifeson, Mr Peart should & would be proud of you guys because what you do is 100% authentic. Thank you so much for all your endless hard work to get everything 100% correct. Your music brings a tear to my eye.
One of my all time favorite Rush tunes, and these guys totally crushed it! Blown away! The bass tone is superb. Drums? Clone of Neil. Guitar? Fabulous. These guys are the best Rush cover ever!!!
You all need to go on tour world wide and especially in Canada. As the fans close their eyes and listen they will SWEAR they went to a Rush concert post 2020!!!
Rush sets the standard and then you gentlemen come along and reach it and WOW. A fine tribute to you all. What a joy to see you playing like the best and being the best!!!
Can you put a bio up on your page ? all us Rush geeks are crazy interested in how long, what your background is with music, events leading up to this point , especially with Rush " retiring " . You are without a doubt THE top talent Rush tribute band around right now. Watching from Michigan.
@Shallex just a silly habit i picked up that to me puts a little pause in the conversation before you read the next sentence..... See like that.. lol...
I appreciate how difficult it is to get a RUSH song to sound this good, especially live. The mastery of the synth and guitar sounds, the playing, all of it.. AMAZING. Thank you so much for sharing your talent!
Without doubt The Best Rush tribute bands ever ! excellent on every level , singer is great , high notes , and the other 2 in the band are really good, Big Rush fan from wet , Covid riden UK
By far the best Rush Tribute band I have ever heard! I have watched all of their live videos and they have every little nuance covered. I have been a huge Neil P. fan from “Fly by Night”, I first saw Rush April 8th 1979 at the Providence Civic Center. The Good Rats opened for them. And Neil’s massive drum kit, although covered in a black sheet, was right there center stage for all to see before the house lights went out and the smell of pot went up. This is when he used two bass drums and had the percussion rack surrounding his kit! When the lights went down, you could hear Neil doing fills up and down the toms as they pulled that black sheet off, and there he was, “The Professor on the Drum Kit”…long hair and mustache! I was 17 and still get the chills thinking about that almost 45 years later! This drummer, Tom, has got this down to the last note! Absolutely incredible! Aside from his on point playing, his kit is near spot on R30 era, and his tuning and sound….Wow! ! As I watch these videos I thought to myself, this guy could cut the Rush gig! All three of these talented gents have put a lot of time and money into this project, which brings us Rush fans back to much simpler times of stereo systems on our bureaus and posters on our walls! Thanks guys for persevering this legacy!
I seen RUSH live a few times and actually had the pleasure of meeting Getty Lee back in the 80's. Awesome job, keep their music alive! Let those who haven't seen RUSH experience it through your band. I tell you what no-one's going to get any closer to seeing the real band! I just hope you keep it going! Thank's for posting and I have subscribed.
I'd venture to say that most of these people didn't realize what they were witnessing while seeing these guys. The hours and hours of practicing to execute these songs the way they do. Lets not forget the sound person(s) what a stellar mix! I'm mind blown by the whole thing.
This is just sending chills up my spine !!! Thank you for this !! Just lovely to hear this music performed .... so ... perfectly. I'm so glad I am not the only Rush fan who appears to be appreciating and enjoying it so much.
It was light out when they started the song ... ended in darkness LOL Stellar job guys on an epic Rush song ! I've listened to this song a thousand times I'm sure , my favorite !
Finally! I've seen Rush themselves playing this song live in addition to numerous tribute bands and this is the first time I've seen the guitarist play the harmonics around the 23rd bar of the solo, just like on the record. Nice job!
Thats a difficult track, done superb , great music ability...as a "struggling" guitar player I appreciate the time, effort put into a track like that....keep up the good work.
Guys .. guys.... U make me feel good... You make me smile... I've never in my life heard anything like this unless it was actual Rush.... Y'all are amazing... I could say that 100x again... 🤘❤️
Rush is my favorite band by far. Not that it should mean much to anybody but, WOW... What a compliment to Rush that these guys would take so much time to learn this piece and play it so well.
