Mama mia....!! Throwback to the musically legendary 80s..... I refer to this era as the golden age of music life simpliciter. S.O.S was right up there....Hi5!!❤
I played SOS , “Noones gonna love you “ to my pretty babygirls in 1983 and 1984. They are my beautiful biracial Queens! ❤️ Momma loves the SOS Band! ❤️
36 years ago and still better than ever. Nothing from today will ever compare to the real music of the past. The SOS Band's best album, "The Sands of Time". Thanks too to James Harris, III and Terrence Lewis, Jr. (Jam N Lewis).
This remix is a brilliant Masterpiece. SOS Band & Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis is the Ultimate pairing. I tried to get as many Remixes & Albums as possible by The SOS Band. They’re a brilliant band & they don’t make phenomenal music like this anymore. It’s 2023 & I’m definitely listening to them. Thank you for sharing your remix with us. I love it.
WEPA🎉🎉🎉 …someone once told me ;” I can’t eat , I can’t sleep … but you’re the best I ever had ,0ohoohooh😊. We still /will always feel the same for each other forever no matter what.
Great band.... makes me sad, that we don't have anyone making music like this nowadays. Late 70' and all the 80's will always be the best, music... ever
Real music. The sound keeps on and on, soul and funk just nasty. Love the SOS Band always........ The mix gets stronger and stronger as the song plays..........
One of my favorite things about this band is they intentionally make long versions of all their songs, and I love it. And I like how the lyrics seems to be going on forever and not so repetitive. Great musicians all around.
Big, big, LARGE Tune! Perfection of extended mix and acapella! Takes me back to a time in the 80's when life was far simpler and SOS controlled the grooves . Thank you JAM & LEWIS everytime!
This was one of the best dance beats of the time. I really love the beats that SOS layed down. One of the best dance bands in my lifetime. Thanks to SOS for all the memories.
Driving down the highway 1986 and this comes on the radio. I had to stop on the side of the road and jam. Same thing happened when Puttin a rush on me by Stephanie Mills hit the first time! ❤️
What would make me think that I could live on Borrowed Love.......Now I see that I can never live on Borrowed Love.......The SOS Band is Awesome. I saw them in 2016 , Raleigh, NC during the summer......They sounded better than ever and have proven to have withstood the test of time........
I'm 46 years old and this song is still hitting. MY oldest child is 26 years old and she loves the S.O.S band. So you think thats saying something .I grew up on this jam, so let's keep the S.O.S Band rolling into the next generation
It's 2024, and this song is nearly 40 years old since its release date in 1986...Still a dam good song. God bless you, SOS Band, your artistry and musicianship over the years, and made me love music. Thank ❤️ you so much. God bless you always ❤️ 💖 🙏
I´ll be turning 60 in may 2023. This music is with me wherever I am. Today even more than back then, still have them on vinyl. Happy to have grown up on this. The SOS Band has been king of cool in Funk and R&B to me ever since. Thanks to Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. They developed their music and took it to this level, it is kind of reduced, but so skilled, when in the late eighties electro funk came up.
Ya'll remember back in the day, being on the dance floor all night long, till they had to drag you off the floor lol. You hit the parking lot and try to figure out where we meetin for early morning breakfast. Occasionally there was a fight cause some dude looked at or hit on homies girl or some girl hit on homegirl's man lol. There may have been a fight or two but we all went home to do it all over again the next weekend :) I miss those days. What was your spot for breakfast after the club in your city? Denny's, I know not the best place but back in the 80's it was cheap and open all night like it is today and the food seemed better back then and if we splurged we went to 13 coins. From Seattle.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Mary Davis kills it.....even all these years later. I grew up with the 80's funk sound. Afrocookie-I love your moniker....lol....and your channel!
