im a protestantic christian and im "confirmed". almost everyone is where i live, and its almost not about god anymore, but about the gifts. it's kind of sad
only critique is that the sacrament of confirmation doesn't necessarily involve a personal affirmation of the Catholic faith, as in confirming a dying infant or child, or in Eastern Catholic rites where the sacrament is administered together with Baptism.

Acts 19:3-6 makes it clear that Baptism and Confirmation are two separate, sacramental signs. In Hebrews 6:2, Baptism and laying on of hands (Confirmation) are seen as separate as well. Where is the sacrament of confirmation done in the bible new testement? Baptism yes, communion n with bread and wine 🍷 yes , marriage of course .. But oil in the front head? I have never seen this in the bible
