The Sad Truth About Rocket Racing... 

the sad part is that the game isnt even in its own section in games and is seen as a minigame not stand alone games

I do think we should wait for season 1, the fact that there is only 4 RL cars that have been ported to UE5 leads to believe that Rl in ue5 won t be coming anytime soon , but if in season 1 the majority of our items get ported to fortnite , maybe it s a sign that ue5 rl is coming which would make it easier to add rocket racing to rl . And who knows,maybe we ll have trading back

I dont think rocket racing is why trading died. Its because epic has no marketplace for items and psyonix doesnt have the infrastructure to create a marketplace

if they want cross-game ownership like rl to fn, just add trading to fn… that would be my solution and i’ve said this several times 😂

Great video, really covered a lot of points I was thinking about as well. I don't really see why epic felt like rocket league had to be connected to the new racing mode, I don't think anyone would care if it was just some cars instead of octanes since that's pretty much where similarities start and end. Maybe they convinced rl devs this would give their game exposure? In any case it's clear now why they removed trading, the cars in the Fortnite shop were originally priced at 40 bucks (now less after the community complained about the price but that was their intended figure). If trading was still up I could go get that same car on rocket league for 50 credits and have it in Fortnite.

I have a honest question, why are people actually upset over trading? This is coming for a person who is never interested in trading and wants to play the game itself.

I dunno if this is exactly why Psyonix/Epic is taking its sweet time with especially the cars but. The available cars in Fortnite are incredibly detailed, down to the last bit, even the interior of the car is fully modeled. That’s my guess at least, they’re pretty much remodeling every single car and as a 3D artist, I can’t even begin to tell you how much time gets poured into making a high quality model for a car

Im a fortnight player and im on rocket league's side I'd be so mad if epic games just remove the ability to aim

I was going to make a video of my first experience in Rocket League. Instead I made a meme video shitting on epic and put about 20 seconds of actual gameplay in. It’s not worth any more than that.

As a member of the rocket league and fortnite community I'd rather have fortnite be fortnite and rocket league be rocket league and no rocket racing if it means trading stays

Before trading got removed I was chilling on rl garage and saw cyclones and jagers for 30,20,10 credits but I didn’t pay to much attention to it but after rocket racing came out with new prices for the cars ,I knew exactly why trading was removed,for epic rocket league items are mainly fortnite cosmetics now so you have to buy them with 4000 credits instead of trading them for reasonable price,honestly they should of came out with original cars instead of ruining another game because they re lazy

100% agreed to everything you said. The physics of rocket league feels very unique to most games out there because it feels the most realistic (in the sense of physics like gravity, thouches on the ball, falling from the ceiling. Definitely not meaning cars constantly air rolling and flying in the air) out of all games. When i tried rocket racing, it felt very dull compared to how the feeling of rocket league is. Why not race in rocket league with rocket league physics ? It would be amazing. Its very sad to see epic games taking these decision. But then again, we all know that its not really Psyonixs say in this, nor the devs, its usually the people on top. Rocket League is, and will always be, an amazing game..

Im very annoyed that a rocket league inspired game mode is in fortnite. I think epic games is trying to encorperate rocket league into fortnite so physonix can't leave epic. Because if they leave, they lose a lot by leaving epic. Instead of working on new content for rocket league the developers are told they should work on fortnite which i'm pretty sure is not what they want. They are pretty much completely neglecting adding new content to rocket league just so they can make fortnite better.

wouldn't it be so much easier to have rocket racing in acutal rocket league then you would get all your items right away instead of over time, plus we wouldn't need to remove trading.

bruh rocket racing so bad like act they cant even put in all the normal basic cars like tf you can put in octane and cyclone but not fennec or dominus or merc and shit like bruh or boosts like fortnite think they really that good bruh i so want them to get sued again

The reason why is cause they are money hungry and they wanted rl in unreal engine 5 and they want more and more money just like you said in your vid

Rocket racing is 10 times better than RL. I wish Epic would just shut down Rocket league and fully focus on rocket racing content instead of TRASH ROCKET LEAGUE
