The saddest part is that it doesn't really matter if you put her out of her misery or not. It's already been revealed that they mutate even if they were already previously dead. Once they've eaten the infected custard the only way to put them out of their misery is to wait until they're in monster form and then kill them
If you think about it the Guardian is a brave guy, after watching the teletubbies for ages, he grew a bond with them secretly. now he had to kill them.

Man, that death was so hard to take in. Laa Laa feels pain and then we simply put her out if that pain. This has gotta be the most heartbreaking moments in horror games.
As good of a scene as it is, her dying no matter what kinda feels like BS im ngl. They couldve perfectly used the reason that she was too upset about the nightmare and have her go "oh you guys eat im gonna sit this one out", from a plot and writing perspective it wouldve been super cool to have alongside this another route where she lived to the end or something

if you think about it, guardian killed everyone except for Tinky Winky. Laa Laa: Depending on Ch. 0, Guardian can kill her. Dipsy: Guardian leads him to a mine Po: KIlls her if you win the boss.

LaLa's back story, one night every tubby ate custard, Tinkywinky act strange, Tinkywinky killed LaLa's friends, LaLa ran away, lit a tree on fire to not get cold, a Guardian tubby found her, LaLa got very very sick, and had a rock bashed in her head to put her out of her misery. Very mest up life 😞
It’s just very sad. I love this game. And yes this is definitely the saddest part. It’s better to put her out of her misery then leave her otherwise she turns infected.
I watched this once not in here while my brother was playing he said he was gonna kill laa laa and I LITERALLY Slap him HOW DOES HE DO THAT WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY I LOVE LAA LAA SO MUCH IM SO SORRY FOR THE DRAMA :(
