This is among the first stories I read in Telugu with pictures long long ago in childhood. My father brought an illustrated simplified version of Bhagavatam for children for us to read. The story was so fascinating that along with Maharishi Bhrigu, I also decided that the best among Tridevs is Lord Vishnu, who continues to be my personal favourite, though over a period of time, I realized that Tridev is only three manifestations of the Supreme power and as they say, "Shivasya hridayor Vishnuh Vishnosya hridayam Shivaha" Another interesting detail of the story I remember is that Lord Vishnu pressed the feet of Maharshi Bhrigu saying " O, you must have hurt your delicate feet by hitting on my hard chest. I apologize for that". Mata Lakshmi it seems got enraged that the place where she lives that is Vishnu vakshasthala was desecrated by Maharishi Bhrigu's foot , and walked out of Vaikuntha and reportedly went to Kolhapur. Whereas Lord Vishnu, searching for her frantically, came down and settled in Tirupati and became the Lord of Seven hills🙏🙏🙏 Fascinating Story !!
