@@GamerGuy249 i do know that but what i described is what essentially happened, germany mobilized to defend, and russia and france did the same all because of austria attacking serbia no one else essentially wanted war the kaiser himself had said after serbia accepting austrian demands that austria didnt have any reason for war but austria still went to war and germany couldnt break the alliance

@@Gokaes Serbia accepted all but one demand. Austria knew that Serbia wouldn't accept them all anyway. In regards to the alliance, it was a defensive alliance, with Germany, Austria-Hungary and Italy agreeing to come to each other's aid if France attacked one of them, and Italy promising to remain neutral if Austria-Hungary was attacked by Russia. Sorry for being pedantic. I did enjoy your joke.
