tomppa246 I guess that makes sense because you couldn’t recognize them on security footage but women in burka will show their face for appropriate reasons ant to a female. Like going to the bank she would show her face to a female. They did a segment about this on good morning Britain. I would suggest checking it out!
Who tf cares what they wear or what their creed is. In sports if you want respect you have to be good at the sport. Background is secondary to skill in this circumstance.
Who ever said that girls couldnt play basketball or that muslim girls couldnt play basketball? What barrier are they breaking? Who was stopping them from doing this?
Mostly muslim extremists. Even then, its kinda ignorant to say that we see these types of girls play in mainstream media so in a way, theyre breaking our subconscious barrier
@@joeyvaldez835 There wasn't a barrier. Not here and now. Just because I have never seen something doesn't mean I can't imagine it or wouldn't allow it, that's not what a barrier is.
@Vishwas Singh that should never happen as long as the state rule is not islamic. It is not allowed to use any sharia law individually (only works as a full system). no islamic law is forced in a foreign country.
a team based on religion is just wrong. this is not what sport is for. sport is not about separating. sport is about everyone beeing equal and enjoying themselves and the game
@@orgen666 who? Have ever you heard of a muslim name killing millions? As i remembered stalin, hitler, Churchill, trump, napoleon, ivan the terrible, genghis khan, spanish inquisition etc. And islam kills millions????
@@djjankov6667 if they arent sad or disgusted to cover their hair who are you to?. I agree that women look way prettier showing their hair, but to these girls looking humble outside home is more important than showing outer beauty. They will only show themselves in their full beauty to their husbands and family. Come on how would you feel if your wife only dresses nicely or wears makeup to ppl outside and not to you her husband everytime? 😁
If christians schools can have varsity teams then so should muslim schools, the girls are just playing sports and it's great that they get the same opportunity to.
What's funny is that there are more transgenders in Iran per capita than any country in the world. Because the legal penalty for homosexuality is a sex change :)
this isnt freedom, this is oppression. Despite what they say, its not their choice to be covered from head to toe, its imposed on them by men, by religion, by custom.
I really love how you say they are being oppressed to wear it, and then *you* tell them what their choice is and what their decisions are, you are hypocrite lol. In Islam, both men and women are required to be covered. This is because in Islam, fornication and adultery (zina) is a sin. Zina starts with something as simple as ogling someone and that could be a man and a woman, that’s why the Quran tells both men and women to lower their gaze and dress modestly. However, because of the way God has created men and women, men feel a stronger sexual desire, and that’s a scientific fact. This means even if a woman was covered modestly (without a headscarf) a man would still ogle her, so women simply wear the headscarf to protect themselves from men, and so that men don’t fall into sin. Hope this cleared up your dusty mind.
Okay, I respect your religion whatever it is but it seems like unpractical to me wearing hijab during playing basketball. Is it that much infidel of you, just taking hijab off for the game?
let them be bruh. in Islam, you can't take off your hijab. you can choose whether to wear it or not. they chose to wear it and thus they can't take it off in public even when playing sports. it's as simple as that. some people chose to wear hijab temporarily which is not really a good thing.
there's only 1 Quran. but there are tons of "mazhab" or "sect". they probably follow a mazhab/sect that requires females to wear it. I don't know how to explain what mazhab is, but you can google it to learn more about it.
Sports is not place to show your religion it's beyond that.... anyway it's not what a progressive state need...it's a wrong message for an emerging society from the religious wounds...just think that if girl need to ware this then why men doesn't ? If their god see them as equal
akhil raj Did you know that men are the first to be addressed concerning lowering their gaze and guarding their modesty in the Quran?...of course, not. Well yeah. And men have their own hijab. The level of what is covered is what is different between men and women . But the other rules of not wearing flimsy, transparent, body hugging, revealing clothes apply to both men and women just the same. And Muslims live their religion in every aspect of their lives. Be it sports or work. It is our way of life.
@@hibu88 lowering his gaze ...haha are u kidding if they afried of then what kind humans they are. in gaze they are gonna pregnante them or destroy them.if it's true then i see a group nymphomaniacs .
akhil raj it starts with a gaze and then the rest follows. God knows our psychology and that’s why God starts with lowering ones gaze. Anyway, if you truly wish to know what a religion is about you have all the information available easily. I don’t have anything more to say. 🙏🏻
Wow this is just, why the double standards if a Christian basketball team was a thing everyone would be so mad but because their Muslim it's ok this is awful I can't even
Are you okay what are you even talking about if it’s a Christian team I’m pretty sure everyone will be happy about it and will stand up and clap for don’t act like you’re the victim lol
Thugasaurus Rex no I was agreeing that there is this stereotype. I did competitive cheerleading for 4 years and felt sad thinking that hijabii girls couldn’t join because of the uniform. Makes total sense to me
@@ariana_208 that's not a stereotype then lol that's a uniform issue. I still don't see where there's a stereotype. Stereotypes are like how people say black people steal and eat chicken, white people exist on wine and cheese, Mexicans eat only tacos, and Chinese people are good at math. Not being able to join because of uniform restrictions isn't a stereotype it's a matter of fact lol
It's none of our business to mock or judge them based on what they wear. Instead they must be supported and encouraged to play as back in most of thier native countries their rights to live as a free women is prohibited.
It’s about protecting our beauty , and I’m sure you haven’t even read the Quran I know you think it’s stupid and you think like it is push of group ppl and bad things but trust me if you read it you’ll understand everything in this life God have sent this book to lead us to the right and not to the wrong and all of the people that are just like you ignore it so you deserve what happened to you at the end also don’t talk about anything if you don’t understand the purpose of it.
@@tigers14 My thoughts exactly feel bad for girls or women who get with guy's of that religion!! I couldn't never date some guy that's in that religion Never!!!
