I understand now about the Diawa difference. I recently ordered the Penn Battle lll DX and can completely feel and see the difference between it and my Diawa BG . Most of my fishing is fresh water in North Alabama. I come to the Keys once a year in June … I’ve learned more from you in the past three months than in my 54 years of life previous. My rod was delivered this afternoon. I tossed a Daiwa Saltist 3000 with 15 lbs PowerPro V2. Had to try it out on the community dock. Caught five ( 1-2 lbs) bass and I must say, I’m looking forward to my inshore fishing trip with it. It is really head and shoulders above my four different Loomis rods. And even cheaper (as a member) Wow!!!

Maybe I'll buy it someday, just not in the budget this year, looks like a sweet rod though.

Use any model Daiwa 2500 d for flounder with 8 pound J braid grand. Perfection.
