The Sandhills Conservation Partnership, formed in 2000, was created as a non-traditional blend of partners united by the desire to protect the land and encourage sustainability. Its mission has spread, impacting Fort Bragg's surrounding regions to include Camp Lejeune and other parts of the southeastern United Sates.
