I grew up in the 60s listening to the great music; this band would've fit right in....no doubt. Are we sure these guys aren't time travelers from the 60s?
The Urges, The Anderson Council, The Young Sinclairs, The Strypes, The Dolly Rocker Movement, Bad Liquor Pond, Asteroid # 4 -- bringing it all back (just like I knew they would)! Back in the very early 1970s, I bought the Nuggets compilation. I was also into The Chesterfield Kings, The Smithereens and The Plimsouls in the early 1980s. Way back then, I told a lot of people that this kind of sound would make it back big sometime during the 1980s and onward into the early 21st century. Thanks to Lenny Kaye and Stevie Van Zandt for keeping this sound alive and on the airwaves.
