Yeah, I think they recorded a 'live' version before they performed, and then they sang along to it here... it's not 100% live, but it's not edited either I believe.
I love The Saturdays, they are amazing and talented :) ALL GIRLS CAN SING!! so dont say that they can't! Nice video just very sad that Mollie wasn't there :(
Vanessa! Omg! Both stunning and talented, she's sooo damn amazing!! She's truly gourgoues as well! Those lips, eyes and voice- Amazing! I love her and Una!! :) :) Love Una's voice, its lovely and husky :) Mollie and her positive and incredible personality is sooo inspiring to me, she's sucha sunshine! And her sweet and cute voice is so good, she sings with so much feelings and emotions! I'm a singer too and The Saturdays inspiries me in soooo many ways! Lots of love to them!! :) :)
Im sorry, but I do like The Saturdays, however I find Mollie and Frankie to be the weakest, VOCALLY. Those two are always struggling with their singing, They could be better as just a trio, or just the four of them right now.
anynextdon yea weirdly when Frankie and Rochelle was in S Club Juniors I thought Rochelle and Hannah (in S Club juniors) was the weakest and Frankie was the strongest. But watching some old S Club Juniors performances, have to admit a lot of it was mimed so you don’t notice it so much who was weakest even live
Lol yess when Frankie was on a baby break they performed as 4 and I didn't miss her at all because vocal wise she never had an important role in the group anyways
I remember this. Mollie got bitten by a horse fly or something and was on crotches. Apparently their bites are very bad as dumb as it may sound to some.
@NoMoreYou19 Your so correct, no fluctuations in volume when Vanessa moves her mic far from her mouth too. Also these mics have a red light indicator that lights up when their switched on and there is no red light lit up on this occasion.
To all the people who are saying they're not singing live - they evidently are. It's just the harmonies and echos on the song that are on the track! and plus, if they weren't singing live, at some time or other, one of them would be singing over Mollie's voice... which they're not! So yanno... it's definetely live :)
@poppiejoy Easy. Lip-syncing isn't about miming to the sound of a CD. They have separate tracks for all the singers, and they can leave one out if they want. They can also mix the sounds however they want to get the effects they need. Also singers usually don't just mime because it's hard to fake singing by just moving your lips. Instead they do sing with the backing track, but their mics are turned down so that most of what the audience hears is the backing track but e.g. breathing can be heard
i really love frankie's make up here :) love her hair too! i had my hair like hers and luckily the style looked good with my face. better than hvg long hair. go frankie i love you. Una too!
in relevance to the current top 2 comments, rochelle SO didnt give her an "evil" look- theyre like best of friends- and mollie had hurt her leg badly x
Mollie's absence has a huge impact on this performance in my opinion. She just adds an energy to the group that would be the same if Frankie wasnt there. They are the better dancers in the group so when one of them isnt there, the performance is so different. Still a good performance though
@vennyk23 Oh no, she wasnt there. She was ill or something. Rochelle told the crowd after Higher :) she'd been ill for a few days, as well as broke up with her boyfriend. She's back performing with them now since Tuesday :) and yes the concert went extremely well, footage of it is on my channel if you're interested in seeing it :)
mollie was ill and couldn't go, so i think they did really well without her, and it was windy and freezing so under those conditions, they were brilliant
@Anfunny2003 seeing as when its filmed for recordings and tv they usually blank out all the fans as you cant hear the peformers, watch the summertime ball videos or somethin,
@zashleyrulesall that wasnt una singing, una was backing, that was vanessas note... if u listened to the saturdays enough youd know that it was vanessas part with the big diva vocal, not unas- her voice is more rocky
VANESSA sang Mollies main part NOT FRANKIE. Frankies vocals on this sound JUST as good on this as Rochelles. The dance routine is amazing. I was there and it was really good. No one really knew this song but they went mad when the girls went over to wave and tsuff. They were going crazy in FIO and Ego, I dont know why they didnt show them on tv.

@amsmart1 i was there, and it was like absolutley pitch perfect no flaws whatsoever, and last year when i saw them there they were absolutly dreadful. and they were one singer down too. i also listened to the studio version, and comapred it and its exactly the same! :L
@journey2findme haha but remember in the chrous other girls are singing with her. so if she moved it away during the chrous then you wouldnt hear much a difference because all of the other girls are singing with her. But if all of them moved away from the mics and the quality was still the same. then it would be a problem
@Anfunny2003 i was there today. the crowd went the most ott for jls, the sats and jason derulo. however, i've learned that t4 on the beach is not a good event especially for live audiences. nobody engages with the audience and its mostly for the viewers at home. :(

it is ane pre- recorded there's a tape playing only molly cauz she was ill tht week. they wrote the song to gelp frankie get over dougi ebut it didn't really work anyways dougie anf frankie are back together

@123smiley1990 the dancing is great! :D i don't think they looked awkward. to be fair this was their first performance of missing you and they were without mollie :(. they are great live though however its not up to them whether they sing live or not.
This isn't Mimed. I was there, they sung completely live and they were great, they just put some of the recorded version I.E. ad-libs and the back vocals on. Besides Vanessa took Mollie's Parts. Love them :)
what i don't get is if its pre recorded, why does roch and frank sound pitchy at certain point? surely the point of a pre recorded live track is to sound perfect while performing.

@267166beyonce It's VERY common in girlbands that all of them sing during the CHORUS, even if it's just one or two girls actually singing. You know that, right?
@riverh41 acually i love the saturdays but i have to say they are! Becuz nessa said in a video that they were performing the song for the first time live and that was when they were doing a performance for 24/7... acoustic
