I actually really miss this kind of interaction now that i’ve moved to the Netherlands. Nobody talks to you on the train or any public transport for that matter. The first time my father came to visit i met him at the airport and we took the train to my city. As soon as he sat down he said hello to everyone and asking them where they were going and what they did. I was really embarrassed but a university student had a good old chat with him until she got off. It may sound silly but you’d miss the irish banter here
