Here in New York, Fordham University has it`s own so-called public radio station. On Sunday afternoon they do an Irish music show. It`s was here that I first heard of the band years ago doing N-17......been loving their music ever since.........thanks for all the songs, and all the live shows here in N.Y. peace
I'm googling them because my husband has just told me that he bought tickets to see them in Manchester in July, but he mistakenly bought two lots of tickets so we have a spare set if you want them! £100!
I saw them many times in Galway, Dublin and even in Stuttgart. As I am from Germany I did. Not understand Everything. Instead of „Looking for the big Star“ I understood „looking for a Pizza“!
Wonderful man and amazing vet Professor Noel Fitzpatrick told Australian audiences about the Saw Doctors in an interview years ago, have never seen them till now, thank you for uploading.Memories of summer love.Yet another great Irish band.
Mike I never knew the band meant so much to so many people, their lyrics have great meaning and sentiment with people and I didn't realize how much the band are loved in Britain and America
They have an enormous almost cult following in the UK, Ireland and America Garrett - we first saw them over 20 years ago and it was an absolute pleasure to meet them this year, and also to actually see them in Galway, as much a home concert unless it was actually in Tuam! Your name seems to suggest you are Irish - is that where you are?
Yes they sure have Mike and it was great reading all the posts on their Facebook about how the band and their songs meant so much to so many people and yes I'm Irish Bud born and bred, I worked in Germany in 1990 I came home at Christmas and there was only two things on peoples minds the mighty Roy Keane who had just moved to England and this mighty band from Galway whom I never heard of because over in Germany I only heard the odd bit of news when I phoned home, but I wasn't long getting into the swing of it and listening to their songs and ended up growing up with all their music, I remember driving into town for the first time when I came home and I Used Ta Love Her was all over the radio and I remember asking the lads who is this band,Good times and great memories.First love stays with you for ever
