I just said this to my girlfriend! I grew up in Collier County and have spent alot of time in the woods. I believe I saw one around 1995 while on and Indian reservation off 41. I won't go into detail but I'm getting very curious about what I saw along with 2 or 3 Indian kids seeing the same thing.

Well I do mushroom and wild ginseng hunting and I have a certain place I have gone for years recently I walked in and the forest went completely silent nothing moving or birds chirping. I heard trees fall with no wind I heard something walking in the distance. I'm a very curious person so I walked toward the sound and I got probably 50 yards from where I heard the foot steps and I seen a big huge creature it was white and black fur or hair. I didn't smell a skunkie smell I smelled real bad body odor very strong smell. It was I think 7 foot maybe 8 foot. Now I'm not the type of person to run from anything in the forest. I didn't run I took a step back but I stood there and it was behind a small tree peeping around looking at me. I just stood there trying to get a better look at what it exactly was. It then turned and walked away and the crazy and really spooky think was there were two more like back up for it. Crazy to think there were that many in one area. Now I still go there and I hunt for the mushrooms and ginseng to this day and you can hear them getting in position guess. These creatures are smarter faster and more than capable to take us out. I believe there a family of bigfoots in this area. No one believes this I told a few people but I got laughed at. This was last year when this happened it was August 2021 and I'll be going back in April looking for morels. Their there and they are real I even thought about putting it on youtube I may do it what do you think

I love your work, and realize the effort it takes. A constructive criticism: dear editor-, please give some thought to volume levels of the music... And , watch your finished (?) final edit on a phone with ear buds, good headphones, and lastly 2 different sets of consumer grade speakers. This is a narrative enhanced documentary, not a Hollywood epic. The music should enhance rather than over power the content, and it definitely should not leave bleeding ears in its wake. And, while I'm at it, EQ primarily for voice, without heavy bass and razor sharp high end that leave Your viewers diving for the volume control. Your clip edits are right on. This really is meant to be constructive. I've recorded and mastered audio for many years, and my video editing coach has multiple Emmys. Keep going - you're right on the edge of being damn good.

I agree 💯!! I was having a good time listening at work, but then the music came on and blew my ears out! It was very irritating!!! There's nothing worse than that in my opinion... and having to stop or pause to turn the volume up or down takes away from the experience, so please, if you can, try to work on this issue? Thx. Other than that it was pretty good! Looking forward to watching another. Keep up the great work

Try gearing up with camo instead of light colored clothes - On a decently moonlit night, you can see a white shirt for 100+ yds through the woods. Be stealthy and quiet like a hunter chasing after life sustaining game. Be the 1st to find one!!!

Totally agree, and I would do it regardless, but I have a feeling they are so hyper aware of who and what is in their territory that it probably doesn't really matter. My hypothesis about the lack of success with game cameras is simply that they're watching you put them up, and the lense looks like an eye so they avoid them.

And cover yourself in dirt like wolves and dogs do before they hunt. Don’t use any detergent when washing the clothes your gonna wear for a few loads and hang outside two weeks prior to the hunt. Also, make sure your guns are clean of any oils or solvents. Don’t bring anything with extremely tight tolerances that can’t get dirty. A well worn in 1911 and a 30-6 or a 45 long colt in a .410 pump. 12 gauge pump. Everglades isn’t nice to hunting equipment. And I always bring my Ontario G.I. Machete in the glades. These guys have got to be actors, why do they keep trying the same things over and over again and expecting different results? For example, If tree knocking is they’re form of communication, why would they react to you walking around and randomly hitting trees? They would probably know instantly that it doesn’t sound right and that’s why that never works. If they do a little more research and start taking it seriously is when I’ll help fund the cause. It’s entertaining to watch but definitely seems like a scam for money.

My Wife and I recently had what I suspect was a Big Foot encounter. I say "suspect" because whatever it was stayed between 100 - 150 yds away from us and it was tough to get a clear look. It was definitely a bipedal, animate, very dark object that followed us as we pedaled by the wooded area on our bikes. I was able to snap 3 decent cell phone pics and 1 decent video of it. I am puzzled as to what the creature was, but keep coming back to a kid or man in a suit waiting for someone on the bike trail to notice him. I have been following Big Foot evidence and sightings for years, looking for one piece of solid evidence but unfortunately never seem to find it. The evidence seems to be limited to sightings, broken trees, a few tracks here and there and howling etc... With game cams & drones being so easy to setup and cheap to operate, why on earth has no one been able to get a pic of a Big Foot?
@RResidentAlienNN
@RResidentAlienNN 2 года назад
Chris they know exactly what cameras are. That includes trail cams. They can pick up on scent and I'm certain they can tell when something has been disturbed like humans walking in the area, considering they are extremely good at concealment. As far as drones go, same rule applies dude. The camera, regardless of HD quality, is going to try and focus on the first and closest object it sees. When you add into that a bunch of other objects on the ground that are the same colors and thick, you're going to get blurry, not so clear footage of anything moving down there. Especially considering they are more intelligent then deer or other run of the mill animals inhabiting the area. You dont see any drone footage of Florida Panthers either in the wild. Or bear. Or really any other animal that is predatory by nature and makes its living by concealing itself.
@RResidentAlienNN
@RResidentAlienNN 2 года назад
Its commonplace today that people who have these things around their houses or farms that dont want them there creeping around livestock and whatever else they are doing, will set up cameras all around the house and any other areas on the property they dont want them around. It's like bug repellant. If you're trying to get evidence of one, the last thing you'd want to do is put up trail cameras or infrared cameras because for some unknown reason, they seem to always know where they are and they will not go anywhere near them.
@RResidentAlienNN

You guys went to all the wrong spots in Florida, the Skunk Apes are north of where yall were but south of Ocala. They thrive in the forrests that surround Lake Okeechobee. They don't live in the swamps they prefer the small stretches of forrests that border the lake and swamps, as well as the conservation land to the east of the lake. And they don't live in the open, they're always found in woods that are seperated by a canal. They use canals and waterways as their fence to keep them safe and hidden from humans. I was never a bigfoot guy, until I stumbled across them last year...I know where two "troops" or clans live near me and i see them nearly everytime i go to these two spots. I'd be happy to take yall there if you dont reveal the location publicly.

I have a suggestion for a new approach to finding and filming sasquatch. It's something I doubt anyone has ever tried... I know it may seem gross or just insane but bare with me.. Seduction. You'll need a brave beauty whose ovulating and hasn't showered in at least half a week so she's got strong, overpowering pheromones. She'll need to be muscular attractive with unbrushed long hair, have unshaven underarms (she'll need to display the underarm hair) , no deodorant. Set up all sorts of trail cams. Thermals, panoramic, etc.. put a couple guys with her with tranq guns and just camp out. My guess is 10/10 you'll get an overly curious teenage sasquatch who can't resist the pheromones, even if they're not sqautch pheromones, they're likely similar, and hormonal drive is nature's number 1 motivator. Good luck and godspeed. You're welcome. 😁

Reminds me of most of the Bigfoot t.v. shows. They never find anything. If I were looking for Bigfoot, I would go to a recent active place, set up camp for a few days, and wait. No calls, knocking, or other noise. Just be normal campers. Better chance of having something coming into your camp to check you out, and hunt for food.

Yall need to go to the skunk ape festival in ochopee fl. It was a dang good time thats for sure. Its on the edge of big cypress reservation. Its at a place called trail lakes campground. They have a skunk ape museum. Its a pretty neat place. Its in the bfe thats for sure lol stumbled across the place on accident looking for somewhere to camp while going down there fishing in chokoloskee. We didn know the event was happening or that there was a skunk ape museum and were in line thinking why is there a line 30 min long to pull in the campgrund and then somebody in a bigfoot costume or should i say skunk ape walked by us and everyone in the truck looked at each other like where tf did we end up. Not gonna lie def could smell pot the whole time there. So needless to say we finally found the perfect campsite lol 😂 definitely have plans on going back. Only live 2 hours from there in highlands county in central fl.

Florida is the one place in the world that has both Alligators and crocodiles. The alligators are found throughout the southern states, but the American crocodile is only found in the everglades outlying mangrove areas. Most are found near Miami at the Turkey Point power plant cooling. Keep in mind, humans are the most invasive specie in Florida.

The Orangatan research center north of Big Cypress has admitted escapees. They stand some 6 ft have four toes and red. The skunk ape is 6 ft red and four toed. Bigfoot has 5 as do all others. That's my experience hiking and camping and hunting pythons throughout Big Cypress. I personally have never seen any and don't believe they exist.
@SmallTownMonsters
@SmallTownMonsters Год назад
Do you know the name of the Orangutan center? Genuinely curious to find out! There have been stories across Florida for years with stories of escaped Chimps, primates and Monkey's, like up in Ocala with the rhesus macaque colonies as an example. 6 foot would definitely be on the high side for hide of Orangutans and they actually have 5 toes on their feet (like humans) although one is a divergent toe, like our thumbs. The reports of skunk apes have 4 toed is dubious and really only comes from one source (Dave Shealy). The typical eyewitness descriptions from Big Cypress and south Florida of "skunk apes" are 5-7 feet or so, varying hair color, either black, brown, reddish etc. Pretty much in line with other reports from across Florida and even other parts of the south.

I have lived in Florida most of my life and as far as I know there was only one official documented Bigfoot sighting that was actually investigated by the BFRO back in the late 1980s I did not know that they were even around back then but I guess they were.. It happened late at night off Nova Road west of Cocoa Florida. At that time Nova Road from West Cocoa to St Cloud Road was a very rural road. Nothing but pastureland and marshes for 40 miles. Also I believe that the Brevard County Sheriff's department and the West Cocoa Police Department checked out the site the next day and they found some things that prompted two guys from the BFRO came all the way from Louisiana to investigate it. The story itself it's somewhat amusing about what happened.

A ladder stand is a necessity to see any distance in south Florida. There are not enough climb able trees, without one. Dave at the skunk ape research place mentioned this in a video I watched right before this one. Yeah you probably already knew this, but thought I should mention it. Seems like you guys bought the proper boots, so maybe next trip a ladder stand could make a huge difference for spotting with that cool infrared scope yall have...peace...Jim

Excellent doc, as always! Love the panther track find and the woodknocking segment! If you listen closely, at 57:04, there is a possible, distant knock response to Aleks' two power knocks. Use headphones! And, at 1:01:09, after Tate does his loud woodknock, there is a "wooo" vocal. Not sure if it's an owl or something else. Again, use headphones.
@DarronMoe
@DarronMoe 2 года назад
Why do you refer to their 'feeler' knocks as (power knocks) & (loud woodknock) ? I'm new to this thing, wondering if these are specific types of knocks they use for different reactions?
@g3ckoizlethal
@g3ckoizlethal 2 года назад
@@DarronMoe Well, those knocks are pretty, similar, honestly. I guess you could put both of those in the same category (loud/power). But, yeah, I was just talking about the force of the knocks, as opposed to a simple tap. Actually, the more force/ferocity you put into the knock, it may give the signal of urgent or anguish, as opposed to something, calming. Not to mention, the tone/beat of the knocks themselves. If you do fast knocks, as opposed to slow ones, if theres Sasquatch in the area, they may not want to respond. However, as I heard in the video, I believe there were responses and if they were from Sasquatch, they did single knocks back. Ive personally, heard single and multiple knocks, before, but not fast/forceful ones. They were rather, slow/calm. I dont know who was doing the knocks, but they were done, during the night/early morning hours, so who knows. I cant say they were from a Bigfoot, but I dont know who's doing woodknocks at 3am in the morning, unless, they were a researcher, I guess. But, yes, there's def variations in the types of knocks, as well as how many. We dont even know what we're putting out there, when we do a knock.
