Fran Kodra is a folk musician and music shop owner in the city of Shkoder in Northern Albania, home to the Qifteli. He plays a traditional melody on his Qifteli, the most popular little Albanian Lute with only two strings. It’s name derives from Turkish and means double string (çift - double and tel - string). Fran Kodra also produces music in traditional and more modern style for special occasions like weddings or funerals.
