Can we cut the Captain Scam crap please? It's not a scam! CS stated upfront what to expect and that is exactly what we got! A highly detailed 777 3D model both exterior, interior and cockpit that uses the default 747 systems, and that is exactly what they produced! So if your too lazy to read it's product description and still bought it, then that's om you! Sure it's no PMDG, but it never purported to be! and was priced accordingly! The price until recently was $19.99 for the 300ER and freighter only the 200ER was $29.99.. Now the 200ER and Freighter are $19.99 and the 300ER is $24.99. and on the Marketplace all 3 variants are $19.99 and currently on sale for $14.99 each not $30 as you state! Then there is the TEEVEE mod (Originally Salty Mod) that corrects the 747 gauges to 777 radial gauges and adds more system functionality like Hydraulics Still has a way to go but it's better with each update! Now the plane has a much better flight model with both VNAV and ILS capabilities with full simbrief integration including fuel and payload !! So for $17 less then the PMDG 777-300ER I have a highly detailed 200ER, 300ER as well as the freighter that each provides a very enjoyable flight experience, and I had it 2+ years before !!
Engine fan blades texture and other bits of the exterior model look much better on the CS model. I own both, but must say exterior model of CS is something incredible. Certain bits of PMDG still resemble P3D graphics
CaptainScam, same goes for LVFR. If you need community mods to make the plane flyable then don’t spend a penny on it. It promotes lazy developers and makes it impossible for a serious project to survive.
If you would read the description before purchasing captain sim, you would know what they are selling. They are always upfront about it. It’s not there fault you purchase without reading the description bro.
I have the CS 777-300ER, and it's my worst add-on purchase ever. The autopilot doesn't even obey altitude and V/S inputs in the autopilot panel and can often lead to the plane having too steep climbs or descents. Even freeware A330 is a little better than this junk, and that's free.
Back before we had MSFS. CaptainSims products for P3D were actually pretty good. I loved their 757's. Its such a shame they have done this to their brand. Also I love your trailer comparison. A clear night and day of the 2 products. Clearly only 1 winner.
Honestly im kinda sad how they ended, I mean what happend to them, why they screwed mfs2020 addons so much and did not made them like they did back in p3d, well who knows
I hate captain sim for many reasons and I'm a proud PMDG costumer as well as an study level aircraft flyer but out of all my respect Captain sim has no foundation of being a 'scam' even though many people call them that way. This video gives is 2 main reasons why they are a scam: • "Stealing" models from foreign sources. • copying the basline Asobo 747-8 FMS, Software etc. The first argument is a claim without any proof given so it is to be questioned if they did so or not, its just a bold statement. Those outside models aren't the best but definitely nothing horrible. Second, Captain sim fully disclosures that they use the 747 for the FMS a.k.a plane Software etc... So Captain sim communicates to the customer what they get by buying Thier products. If the price is justified for development is to be judged by everybody individually. From my view they overprice Thier products but not in a way that would scream "scam" Captain sim isn't the best but they don't have anything about them that makes them scammy.

Something like 2 years ago, shortly after getting started in the world of flight simming with MSFS, i was foolish enough to buy the CS 777-300ER. It was my first purchase, and after aspending about one and a half grand on addons in the past 2 years, its really the only purchase i actually fully regret making. I was so happy in being finally able to cast it into the abyss from my library once PMDGs one dropped, and i dont think ill ever be touching it again Lesson here? even if you think to yourself "eh atleast the models good", dont, you WILL regret buying modern CS no matter what

I knew this was coming! I have both now!😂 I used to enjoy flying the CS B777 before realizing it was a scam! The exterior model is beautiful but that’s it!
I'm fully satisfied with Captain Sim besides it doesn't have crappy procedures for breaks and responds perfectly to keyboard commands which PMDG can't do
I ain't pay 324,999,999,99 for that. I'm on a budget and who is stupid enough to just throw away 324,999,999,99 bucks for a plane then go ahead, but save that money, it may be new but it's just a sim model. Go for the Captainsim, it is the best price "only" 30 bucks and you still get a very nicely modelled exterior model. Still better than paying 295 bucks more. Bro, you can buy a real flight in the 777 for so much money
The PMGD 777 would be cool to fly, but I just want a decent A350. Its my favourite airplane. I will just fly the MSFS24 A330, which might be the most similar to an A350 I guess... Great vid btw 👍👍
