great breakdown for noobs and anybody interested in the smart contract. the actual developer of pepe was from the same address as bobo and some other memecoins which have been doing numbers recently. pepe was probably the quickest & most inorganic pump of a token ive ever seen but just goes to show how popular memecoins have become now and most likely will play a central role now for the upcomming bull run. respect the pump an would like to see more videos like this of you explaining individual smart contracts. thanks julien

I would like a video explain just how exactly price of token is derived at any point from start to current. Especially how buys and sells affect. I mean there must be some fixed formula exchanges use?

Great Video. Its interesting they didnt burn the LP to the Null address then put a little bit in unicrypt. It makes it look like a classic rugpull on dexscreener with the LP ammount having the grey circle around it. I feel there is a meme of well performing meme coins looking at first glance like there is lots of red flags. Thats messed up blacklisting that guy though

How did you navigate to the Screenshot of the initial LP provding on 5:38? Im trying but im having a hard time getting to it on Etherscan. And how did the marketcap start at $4,000, was there a certain calculation you did?

@@shakos4105 the starting price is not set, it is calculated by the supply and initial value. Here the supply was a certain number of PEPE and the value was 2 ETH (approx 4’000 USD). To calculate the price, you divide the value by the supply, which makes for a very small number with lots of 0 after the comma 😉
Great job debunking the smart contract Julien. Personally I considered since minute one I heard about the blacklisting of this buyer for less than 100usd that this coin was a scam. I mean anyone in the shoes of this early buyer should consider the same. The guy bought before TGE that's why the devs did this, they didn't expect this move Still that's anti-pattern for blockchain decentralized coins so nope I can't agree with what they did with this. 🤮🤮

Shame on the dev team, seriously they should have been taken down for having blocked this early buyer and this project shouldn't have succeeded if ppl would have agreed that dev team didn't play the game fairly. 🙄
