Its sad that Capcom will keep milking Resident Evil, but wont do a single modern Dino Crisis.

These fan made jurassic games are cool and indeed have a scary fear factory vibe to them and make the dinosaurs look scary wish we could get an actual horror themed Jurassic Park/world game.

The second game is meant to be Robert Muldoon in his own twisted purgatory style afterlife after he was killed by the raptor. What the devs should do is end the game with Muldoon finding his own body

That second game with Robert Muldoon they straight up used the crying noise from Silent Hill and the sirens 😂 in the building you went into looks just like the school it's all Silent Hill sound effects 😂😂

Honestly, I think a Game like Alien Isolation would be a awesome direct translation to a Jurassic Park horror game.

props to the effort these devs go through to bring us the games the big time studios refuse to.

Wish these were NOT fan made games, but actual games being made. We need a Far Cry First Person JP/JW styled game, open world and horror themed. Game companies should learn a thing or two from these fan made games.

We have enough JP park builders. What we need is a modern remake of the old GBA tie-in game Island Attack. Where we have to struggle to survive on Isla Sorna during JP3. Or a modern remake of Jurassic Park on the Sega CD. Trying to solve puzzles with limited weapons all the while trying to acquire dinosaur eggs.

Something I really enjoyed in the rex breakout demo is taunting it to come toward you and then remaining still enough for it to lose me. The AI has the behavior of looking back and forth and scrutinizing the area it spotted you with each eye, much like in the book.

I didn't expect that second game to become Silent Hill x Jurassic Park, but there you go

Trespasser from 1998 is my favorite Jurassic Park game ever. Mostly because of John Hammonds (Richard Attenborough) story telling in the game 🥰. And also the scarying atmosphere off been alone

so from what i recall, that first game with the t. rex was made by one guy and is more of a tech demo. he released it as a one off and didn't release any updates for it, which is why the rex can just walk through you, you can't go into the restroom, can't get flares from the back of the vehicle, etc. it's such a shame because despite such a simple concept, someone with game dev experience could easily turn something like that into a really awesome jurassic park survival game. mind you, with how weird universal are with going after fan games lately, it's understandable that no one really wants to put in the effort.

They should do a video game based on the novel. 100%

I remember years ago before Ghostbusters: The Video Game was released and there was a game being developed some upstart group. Sony shut it down pretty quickly and fans were so disappointed. As it turned out, Sony already had something in the works. I look at this and wonder what is Universal is smoking that they don't see the response to this and don't develop something like it.

Unfortunately the evolution games lack the JPOG soundtrack which is fire. The soundtracks for the older games were really good.

The Scariest Game in the Jurassic Franchise, Awesome and great work on this Klayton and this has got to be the most suspenseful and terrifying scene in the games I’ve ever seen in my opinion and it looks kinda cool, not gonna lie especially the Tyrannosaur scene. 30:00 Ok this is really fricking scary,this actually reminds me of the xenomorth from Alien Isolation where you have to use stealth to get past the main enemy, in this case you have to safely evade an extremely intelligent velociraptor which is SO much worse than just simply avoiding the T Rex in the previous game,at least the T Rex can't see you when you're not moving but that doesn't matter when you're stuck in a kitchen with a very very smart velociraptor who's vision does not rely on movement,I think just before it goes for you you have a split second to hide before it starts to run straight towards you

Hey Kalyton if you love Jurassic Park games than you will definitely would love Oakwood. It may not have the Jurassic name but it's inspired by Jurassic Park especially the Lost World. Very cool. I hope they do something with the IP rather than let it sit for another 10-20 years. A movie or game based on the books would be cool, but I'm sure that between those and movies there are plenty of opportunities for new stories to fit within the timeline. I'd settle for a horror remake of Trespasser, though.

I'm still surprised you haven't done an in depth look at JP Aftermath since it's canon. I know it's lame to just watch if you dont have VR though. I recently found a really neat dino game called Oakwood. Only takes 2 hours to finish and it's on Steam. Highly recommend if you like what Klayton showed here.

I think its very odd that all of these indy JP games have been allowed to be released without Universals approval. Yet the JP game Krenautican and his team are developing (the one made within the Dreams program on PS5), has been unceremonially stopped by universal in its current form. This game was being made by a non profit team and it's giving us the content we've been begging for, for the last 20 years or so. It just seems Universal come what may, will not have a horror action game associated with them. Since this is what Jurassic Park is all about, I don't get why Universal are being so unyielding on this issue.

I’d argue that the Telltale Jurassic Park was survival horror. The only difference was that it was less gore-y and on rails. But it’s perfect for kids. I played it when I was 13.

There is almost nothing more that I want now than a high quality Jurassic Park survival game professionally published on this engine. Imagine a game like Alien: Isolation, but with Jurassic Park dinosaurs. If that game could happen why can't this? I would buy it in five seconds flat. In the movies rex can't see you if you don't move. But their sence of smell should be on point. So you standing still shouldn't matter.

The last game based on JP3 I found out that every time you're hidden the eye in the top right corner closes so that means the I is the raptor's eyes they can see you when it's open and when it's closed they cannot

Someone where I live made a JP jeep (the tan & red one) that is jaw droppingly accurate. F-ing beautiful and my wife and I always get gitty when we see it driving around town.

I recognized that silent hill 1 fog music right away and I thought to myself “oh no he didn’t” then the siren-like sounds and darkened atmosphere confirmed it to me.

hearing you mention Jurassic World Builder Games. I'm currently playing "Jurassic World the Game" on my phone. Good game but it eats away your MBs on your phone. I ended up Unstalling a lot of programs just to keep the game a float.

0:14 that is the most impressive 2d pixel dinosaur Jurassic Park game i have ever seen gorgeous 2d pixel graphics. I was creating and making Unreal Engine 5 2D and 2.5D pixel games alot but 0:14 gorgeous texture graphics is what im reconsidering, reevaluate myself, and rethinking pixel games can be gorgeous too look and view at. I want a link 0:14 of this 2d pixel dinosaur game. Where do you did you find it? Also, the Jurassic Park game is very impressive cause well im a fanboy of the Jurassic franchise and do certainly like dinos. This game 23:40 from DisneyWorld happy times to Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Dino Crisis, or another scary horror game quite quickly and terrifying those ominous horrifying sound music. I just sH!T my pants on the second game that i thought it was only be an average third-person simulation but was more than that. Very impressive dino games. Would like to see an Unreal Engine 5, Unity 3D, or CryEngine VR game.

Crazy thing with Jurassic games is that the studios etc that have the rights, always make garbage games. Then, fans come along, make fantastic games, and they get shut down by the rights-owners. It's as if the studios are determined to be as mediocre and self-destructive as possible. The people that made these games though should get together, and make a unique game where each level is different. I remember games of old, having different levels in different styles. Imagine having a JP game where level 1 is going around the Visitor Center, first person style... collecting info, maybe a few key-cards for doors. Kinda like the training level at the start of Area 51 kind of thing. Hammond talks to you, and you first-person your way through the first 5 minutes learning a few controls and getting some keys, maybe a set of night-vis goggles. Maybe a Muldoon shotgun too. Level 2 or 3 is based directly on the Rex Escape scene. Next level could be that Third Person collecting eggs level from 12:50. Which looks like an updated version of the SNES/NES/Gameboy JP game. Next level: that First-Person Raptors in the Kitchen. Final level could be a first person Alien Isolation style level, escaping the Raptors... and the endgame is to make it to the Visitor Center and open a door to let the Rex in to kill the Raptors. If all those guys got together and combined assets, they could make a game that puts the studios to shame.

If only these fan made games came together and made one solid game and solid it to universal
