I really wish these people showing these clips would STOP putting the thumbnails over the tail end of these videos. It completely covers what we're watching and it's so freakin obnoxious. You won't gain subscribers if you keep doing that.
@@alfredaumann391 towards the end it gives you options to hit links for the next video you might want to watch. They're huge thumbnails so I don't know how you can miss them? It's an option RU-vid gives you when you're uploading your stuff to get people to keep clicking. And it's OBNOXIOUS. The guy who uploaded this didn't even finish the scene anyway. I hate the internet.
Unfortunately, only a few RU-vidrs put an extra blank footage of 10 seconds at the end to accommodate for those End Screen - Watch Next Videos things. Because this is a "catch 22". If they do, then viewers will see them, but if they do not do it, viewers will not see them, as they leave at the end, but it is not the end as there is the tail.
@@Dessert_x_Tat This video they put it over a crucial end point, they also didn't finish the scene where he blows the guy's arm off. Probably just another reason so it doesn't get flagged for 'violence' so it generates more clicks. This stuff is all about people trying to generate digital credits and it's ruining the internet. CBDC on its way and then we'll really be screwed. People need to stop playing these tech company's game.
press F12 go to the console tab close any greeting or messages from the web browser or until you are able to enter text into the bottom line of the console stuff at the > paste: document.querySelectorAll(".ytp-ce-element").forEach((el) => el.remove()); at the bottom of the console at the > and press enter it will say "undefined", but it will remove the end cards usually have to enter it for every video as the command doesn't really carry over
Love how everyone is getting shot and gun fire is clearly going off but everyone at the chopper just thinks it's better to just stand in place and not move. Should we take cover? Nah, we will be ok. LOL.
Normal, high military officers with senator I no fan of USA , but that’s why they are number 1 , that’s just how it is …. Their military is the best , most of the best end up senators … Education would help before comment
well there isnt really any place to take cover is there ? they cant take of in the helicopter either. if he shoots it they would just die. cant hide behind because he could shoot their legs, cant hide inside either. no place to hide
LOL you army sarge? We used to get an automatic upgrade when transferring out of the navy/chair force into the army or Gyrenes. Wonder why?🤔 Pretty sure it has nothing to do with IQ, but I digress.
Steven Hunter's books about Bob Lee Swagger & his father Earl Swagger, both US Marines are well recommended. He made some errors in Arkansas geography but they are works of fiction, not a tour guide. With that caveat, his books are well researched & highly entertaining.
Of course he did not actually shoot/kill people. Iirc he did spend time with experts. He did live fire, using correct equipment, training so he should have actually made much closer, easier shots.
First, I am not a sniper so take what a say with a grain of salt. I truly am amazed at these guys who do this for a living. To be able to calculate in their heads the distances , the wind and other factors to determine where to put that mark to drop their targets. I had trouble just trying to hit the 300 meter target at the range in controlled environment. Okay, somewhat controlled environment. My hat is off to all of you guys for being able to do that and live with what you had to do.
First of all, when you are shooting at a distance you go for what's called Center mass. E.i. You aim to hit the target around the chest area. Going for a head shot is too risky since once you have fired, you compromised. You move your head around a lot, and it's very small target. Also, over 90% of what the snipers do is information gathering. Observing a target over days or even weeks. Your eyes locked to binos or the scope without moving. It's not Battlefield 2042. Camping is what they do and they are REALLY good at it.
Yeah , its not as easy as it looks , i used to go shooting as a young bloke for rabbits or foxes back in the day , on one particular occasion i had a bunny i guess about 250 metres happily procrastinating on some rolling green hills on grey winters day , i had a 22 with a scope , id carefully aim shoot and see the dust rise about a foot to one side of him , then do the same again and the dust would rise about a foot the other side of him , each time , the bunnies looking around ....what you talking about willis ! , he did not know where it was coming from , then he just turned around and slowly very nonchalantly hopped out of view unscathed :), a good thing the family wasnt relying on me to bring home tucker :). Its definitely a skill , not one i was ever good at , except maybe in battlefield computer game :) . I also remember going shooting with a copper mate one day , and he was seriously a good shot , he more often than not hit what he was aiming at , at a closer distances even when i was still hitting dirt .
I did the scoring for Carlos Hathcock Junior at one 1,000 yard match I attended. Never shot above 188 out of 200 in my 7 years competing. Definitely not a sniper, but damn the 1,000 yard stuff was fun.
y'all realize Mark was initially a professional Calvin Klein underwear model, turned professional actor, pretty good one top .. as far as anyone is aware of tho, never militarily train as a sniper😅
We all know it’s make believe, movie magic, entertainment. But that’s what great movies and books do. They make you suspend reality and live in that moment, like a good book. I love Lord of the Rings but I know it’s all fiction and fantasy. Just appreciate art, man.
@@andrewtrotter9023 The video title states that Mark is a great actor because of this scene. He doesn’t act in this scene. You ranted about fiction for some reason. Clear now?
he was shot from the front, which is ironic because 2 snipers were on his sides 1 right 1 left and the 3rd was somewhere else behind him. The other problem with that scene outside of the shot taken by Mark to remove the hand is that the plate Pena took off had 2 bullet marks on it
Yep, I’ll remember to check out all the sniping tips and advice here next time I’m perched on top of the local multi storey, looking to pop some bad guys 😂😂😂
The scene in shooter that made Mark Wahlberg look like a legend, when he is really a previously violent felon and almost decent actor. Saddest of all the books are very well written and put together, unlike the little things in this movie. Markie Mark did his best but he just isn't Swagger, to be fair I wasn't happy with Matthew McConahey's portrayal of Dirk Pitt and he did pretty good. Guess they just look better in my head when I am reading it.
@Sugarsail1 Who cares! If you take a movie seriously, there is something seriously wrong with you. It's just a movie, and the bigger the b.s the more enjoyable to watch. Why do you think the M-She-U (Marvel) is so famous?
it may not be real but Mark Wahlberg did go through the Marine Sniper training course for this movie. Mark is literally one of the few actors that actually does specialized training for whatever military style role he plays. Tom Cruise and Kurt Russel are another 2 actors who take specialized training for military style roles
