Diego is fighting at the highest level and he's telling you, that this guy who is 5 foot nothing is tapping him in training. So the guy has stuff to teach and is a legit badass. Period. Anyone who can roll with Diego and get his respect, must be pretty good at BJJ. The interview definitely weirded me out... and I feel he controls Diego a lot ... but only time will tell what he's bringing to Diego. He's trying to make him take less damage in his fights and have a future business after, which isn't a bad thing.

Thank god I wasn’t the only one to notice this. Example, I remember the last time my back was against the wall/ in a comfortable situation I pulled out my phone to pretend to text but was actually scrolling through apps and other nonsense to waste time and to avoid confrontation of course. I’m being blunt. That’s what I did, and other human beings instinctively do in this day in age. Again, I’m being blunt, it’s a defense mechanism. Lol, if you’re truly self aware you know that you’ll never be completely self aware because you have an ego and even trying to detach yourself from it proves it still exists and is controlling what you do and there’s no way you can intercept it. It is always your motivation. Even if you’re an altruist, you do it because it makes your brain feel good and why do you care? Because your ego says “I want to feel good”. “I want to live”. “I want” and then when you don’t want anything anymore and you’re not eating and just breathing and don’t even want life, your ego will desire death or breath. And you’ll realize you don’t have to decide because both are involuntary, just like your ego. So, my point is don’t call him a guru. He’s not a guru. He’s an egomaniac. And so are we. He’s just playing a different game. It’s kind of weird, but let them play their game.
