I've thought about this a lot recently. There are so many good science champs its honestly hard to choose between them. On one hand, it allows players to choose their favorite science champion since they are all so good. On the other hand, I understand that an entire class destroying everyone isnt necessarily a good thing for the game. But Im scared of the toxicity level of the next Skill champion defender needed to correct the path 😢
It doesn’t have to go that way Kabam can correct it in 1 month release new good skill and mystic attackers buff already existing mystic tech mutant champion One massive overhaul can change the game
Trust me Nagase, I was the only guy who ranked up Luke Cage before the buff and was enjoying playing him. But, after the buff, he got a nice damage ramp... I am currently the Sasquatch Slayer in AWs😂. 🔥
I'm soo happy Red Guardian got the buff he deserves I hate Midcage lol. Red Guardian all day baby. And remember they nerfed Red Guardians original buff😊
I don't think it's a huge problem. The only thing that makes the science class seem as good as it is right now, is that we've seen a lot of great science champs come out after the introduction of 7*s - meaning, all of these top-tier science champs are available as 7*s. If all of the different classes' best champions were available as 7*s, we'd probably not have a discussion about the science class being lopsided. How much wouldn't an r3 Hit-Monkey tear through? How annoyingly beefy wouldn't an r3 Apocalypse be? Just imagine how annoying an r3 version of Future Ant-Man would be, or if we're talking about the mystic class, Man-Thing or Mephisto. And I haven't even talked about the biggest, monumental elephant in the room: the cosmic class. We have almost none of the best cosmic champions available as 7*s. No Hulkling, no Galan, no CGR, and obviously no Hercules. While no, there hasn't been an incredibly broken mystic defender in a while, all of these science champions came out as a response to a lot of broken mystic defenders already being in the game. We're basically seeing the science equivalent of how a lot of cosmic attackers came out in response to Peni a few years back. They're not just there to be over-the-top crazy good on attack - they're there to solve a problem the science class was having. The pendulum will swing back in time, I'm sure.
yeah, whenever human yorch is a good option. he is still just a beast. dont use him too often. but any boss that has energy base attacks or incinerates without really high energy resist. he is still one of the best options
I think this has been such a longstanding issue at this point that we need a couple of skill defenders that are just completely Debuff immune when fighting science attackers, that's where their control comes from. This video also goes a long way to credit Kabam's recent decision to have those top tier defenders introduced, though it'll be interesting to see over time how Serpent gets handled by some of these top tier champs

There's a bunch of OP cosmic champs. Even og Thor ascended with abs and stryfe synergy is wrecking fights with 15 hits..

It made little sense to me to do Red Guardian then Luke. Happy for the buffs. But a bit odd. Also I’d love an OG Cap buff….but yeah. He could/should be a great dual threat.
Skill literally has an option on hand for every OP science champ. The only problem as I see it is more OP champs from the other classes need to be released as 7stars, that’s where the imbalance lies.
While true yes, there ia something we should remember, science besides photon doesnt really have defender, its fine to have good attackers when thats all you have really
Youre also playing RG unoptimally You can get the trauma debuff right away at the start of the fight by just blocking a heavy attack with no loss. 30 second BG fights go brr
its an old trend. for a while mystic was the best defensive class. for a while was cosmic the best class. then mutant. and now it has been science for a bit. and ofcourse this trend seems more and more crazy. but champs over all are getting better and better so that probably has a big part in it. kabam hasnt really ever been about staying balanced. there is and probably will always be a bit unbalanced. they tend to overcompensate
Cosmic as well it's super powerful with Hercules and CGR. Science is a jack of all trades with both utility and damage. Also from the video it looks like you want these science champs to get nerfed.
This literally sounded like a video to Kabam to please nerf the Science class. I don’t get what we are supposed to hope for the game to go back to majority meme tier champs. This is coming from one of the very best players in this game. Don’t forget Nagase that these champs seem this way in your very capable hands. There is skill and knowledge involved in using these champs to perform like you are showing and that’s not the standard bro. Not everyone is as good as you are or knowledgeable about the game as you are with champion mechanics. And this is not a dig at you personally just remember that not everyone can make the game look as easy as you do.
Every class has this weird cadence they go on where there WAYYY to weak and that last for about two years. Then it seems that they just release banger after banger for that class. THE AGE OF MUTANTS IS COMING!!
no it's not because not everyone have all those options if a whale have all the champs it's not the game. it's about having options the better the champs are the more the options
This is true. But your presenting it like it's a problem. It's not. This has happened with so many classes before. Like specific champs, their time ends. Science was the weakest not long ago
Don’t hate on me but I feel like tech the weakest and has been the most undermined class since the start of the game , if you look at anyone’s roster , they only like maybe 3 techs , shuri, hulk buster , red skull , maybe starky , everyone else kinda fell off
Whats the point though how hard do we want mystic defenders to be i agree kabam hasn't evened it out yet they had to give us more annoying skill and Mutant defenders first lmao. But 65 seconds is considered like an okay fight in what is kinda of a nuke meta but i agree we need better mystics for sure. I like the Science class where it is its just so uneven when talking about the other classes especially Mystic. 😊
For my ranking in science : 1 Photon 2 Hulk 3 Titania 4 silk 5 human torch But I am still confused between top 3 😂 I love photon bcz I easily kill doom,absorbing man but human torch can take doom and many of the mystic but photo is best for me in absorbing man fight
The title doesn't make any sense. The same situation happened with the Mutant class and after that the Cosmic class being OP. If they want to nerf the Science class Kabam can easily do that. Just like they nerf Hercules for Necropolis. The Science class is not even great for Incursion. They are at least 4 champions that are far better in Incursion than any champions in the Science class. 1. Angela 2. Hela 3. Aegon 4. Hercules
"Silk is broken" lol. Silk is so broken she had to be nerf. Ooh never mind. I do want to say might be top 10 in Incursion but has many flaws. Silk has no immunities and doesn't have Regen. She is not damage mastery friendly and can't handle like 100 straight fights by herself.
