Very interesting topic, I'm here from HEC Paris MSIE. About this topic, I often say I'm jealous and possessive with my happiness, which my motivation to keep behaving or working or just conducting myself in a way to preserve it or enhance it. This also means that to me happiness is not a statu quo state of being, it does evolve and need to be nourished, enjoyed, assessed maybe (even if it get self checked by life challenges and encounters); Thanks Liam and Tal for sharing with us on this topic.

The question for me is how to maintain a balanced state of mind when present circumstances are and have been difficult for a long time…when one doesn’t have a support network or the free time or energy to find one, when one is working paycheck to paycheck with no end in sight, even in old age. (My situation). These are great suggestions, but there are many people living in a great deal of uncertainty in a culture that isn’t supportive of people who don’t have economic security. That’s a reality.
