I have a question. I did exactly this. How do I avoid the sandbags from sliding down the roof? I tried zip ties and didn’t work either. Any tips?

Well I am by no means and expert, but if you make eachsanbag weight more or less the same, and you can tie with a rope each sandbag to another on the other side of the roof at the same time, the counterweight between both should make it so that they don't slide.
